which water park is best for my kids?

Hi, I have 2 kids ages 2 & 6, which water park has more for them to do? My hubby really wants to go to a water park but I want to make sure there will be stuff for my little ones to do there too. Thanks

I did both with my 5 year old son in June and he much preferred Blizzard Beach to Typhoon Lagoon. You won't go wrong with either, but there was just a lot more at BB for littler kids - especially the in between kids that are two big for kiddie areas, but not big enough for all the major attractions (my son isn't 48 inches yet). BB has two separate kid areas with one geared for slightly older kids. Tubes rides that they can go down themselves, etc. The family raft ride at BB is also much better and there seemed like there were more rides that we could go down mostly together. The pool also doesn't have the large, crashing waves like TL's pool has (they were too much for us).

We've done both and liked both, but the wave pool at TL really knocks you around and left all of us with scrapes on our knees. Be aware that the kids area at BB is super strict with 48 inches and under. I was there with my DD2 and DS7 and he could not go down with her because he was too tall. Just warning you to be prepared to split up if you end up with one too tall.

If you don't think you'd use the wave pool or big slides, I like the little kids area at Typhoon Lagoon better. There was sand to play in, a smaller slide (that emptied into the edge of the "lagoon" with the wave pool), spray guns, and a neat tube slide for little ones.

Tough choice. My kids (7, 4 and 2) would say BB, simply for the wave pool.

Great question!! We'll have a 16 month old and a tall 5 year old next year and were wondering the same thing about the Water Parks.
