Which water park for a 4yr old?

Trying to decided the best waterpark to take a 4yr old to. Pretty much the biggest worries is she can not go underwater without earplugs (she has had numerous ear surgeries) and she HATES wearing them (but I'm sure we could get them on for a slide or two) so how many slides dump you off into a pool compared to just ending? will I be able to stand at the end and catch her for any of the ones that end into a pool?

Thanks!

My then 6 yr old dd loved Blizzard Beach. There are toboggan style slides that simply end (no pool) a family raft ride and also a large kids area with smaller slides that all end in either little or no water (in other words they don't have to go under). We loved BB!

Will your DD wear a swim cap? Those cover the ears, so she doesn't have to wear ear plugs. If she NEEDS to wear earplugs when she is in or near water, then just explain to her that she has to wear them, or no swimming.

What about the soft silicone earplugs for kids? The kind that you shape with your fingers? Those are more comfortable.

Thanks! that was pretty much what I was wondering

I haven't thought about the swim cap, I will try it and see. she knows she can't go underwater, so earplugs usually are not a big deal when we are just in a pool

I'll have to look at the soft silicone earplugs, maybe those would work

Thanks!

We were lucky enough to hold DS off on the water parks since I thought his sisters were too young for them. Luckily CBR's pool was awesome and he was happy with it on the last trip. He's already said that he wants to hit them on the next trip though, so I'll need all the advice too!:goodvibes It's been 12 years since I was at the water parks, so I don't remember details.:confused3

DS loves his silicone ear plugs because otherwise he gets too much water in his ears.
