Which was your favorite Star Wars Movie?

I voted for Empire Strikes Back followed closely by A New Hope.

But I guess I'm in the minority in that I didn't think Phantom Menace was too bad, except for JarJar Binks and the GunGuns - what the heck was he thinking?

Now Attack of the Clones was the worst one of the bunch IMO. The dialogue in the "love scenes" was atrocious. George Lucas should stick to directing/producing movies and stay away from writing.

Has anyone seen the movie Fan Boys? I really enjoyed it and realized that I'm a big geek because I got all the jokes and references.

My favorite was the original because it was so NEW. I had never seen anything like it before and it captivated me. Nothing can compare to a film taking you somewhere you've never been before and totally getting you lost for 2 hours.

Absolutely, I still remember the feeling and the excitement of that never ending ship coming across the screen.

I consider that moment of silence just before the first blast of the theme music to be one of the most perfect movie moments ever.

Emipire Strikes Back is my favorite. Of the prequels, it's Revenge of the Sith.

I did not care for the newer ones at all esp the last one I think it was Revenge of the Sith. That one was just pure horrible.

Wow, someone resurrected an ancient thread!

But since the question is still relevant, Return of the Jedi and Revenge of the Sith are my favorites. I've always loved fall/redemption stories of all types. Maybe it's that "back from the brink of madness" thing but ROTJ and ROTS are my favorites story-wise.

Now as far as acting... The prequels are HORRIBLE. If they just hadn't cast Hayden... Everybody else acted circles around him, but he still brought them all down.

It's funny, in the movie Jumper, he wasn't too bad (not going to win an award, but not too bad). But in the SWs movie it was just downright painful whenever he had any lines.
Me-sa thinks even Jar Jar better actor then was he.

Ah, love Ray Park. He was a total sweetheart when I met him. He was much nicer to me than other actors I've met.

Return of the Jedi, followed closely by Empire. I'm a big fan of the ewoks. Out of the prequels, I only saw half of the Phantom Menace before I gave up.
