Hi all,

can anyone suggest which Walmart is the best to go to for clothing - t-shirts, footware etc. We have looked on their website and there seems to be quite a few in Orlando.

We are staying at the Dolphin and will be using local transport for the duration so probably looking at going by taxi there and back.

thanks

:thumbsup2 There's one near the Crossroads just outside DTD it's not too far to walk for us but depends on how much walking you are used to. :thumbsup2

If your transportation from the airport will permit you a stop, there is a big Walmart on Osceola Parkway, where it intersects with the Florida Turnpike. I would say it's about 14-15 miles from the Dolphin.
Happy shopping! :sunny:

I too would suggest the Walmart on Osceola Parkway having recently stayed at Old Key West and visited it on a couple of ocassions.

Take US192 west to the end then on US27 north. Two minutes on your right is a fairly new Walmart, very big. We used this as it was near our villa and about 15-20 mins from WDW.

We went to the Walmart on the 192 (just after marker 14 I think - just past the Medieval Times show) and it had a fair amount of clothing for sale. I think it might actually be one of the largest Walmart's in the U.S! You can't miss it, it goes on forever :thumbsup2

the one on the way to the florida mall! I spend ages in there and theres loads of clothes

Walmart is good for clothes?

Must admit I have only ever been in the one on the 192, and to be honest it was only a very quick look round.

Just seemed to be standard cheap t-shirts etc, can you buy good quality beach towels there?

i am staying on international drive by sand lake. which is the closest to me. we are driving on this visit so i would like to take a peek...

Keep on Sand lake Road towards the airport, it's on the right before Florida Mall.

For Disney area, the one in Clermont on US 27 is probably nearest.

Only ones that run when you get them wet Johnny :teeth: :rotfl2: (sorry couldn't resist that ;) )

I must admit I have never bought one from there so I don't know :confused3

:) Thanks Karen!

I think I will stick to the Ralph Lauren store at Premium Outlets for our beach towels then.
Nothing worse than a cheap 'runny' towel.

Largest Walmart is on 192 just passed Medieval Times going Eastbound if you are travelling from I4 or (Disney area). Locate Medieval Times on a map and see where you are in conjunction with it. It sells everything even cars I beleive!! It has onsite eatery and is like a department store with a pharmacy as well. Also sells loads of cheap clothes!! :Pinkbounc but the restrooms were not too clean on our last visit!!

We brought the whole family beach towels from Wal Mart about 4 years ago and they are still going strong. They are also massive so take up alot of luggage space.( extra suitcase time) :thumbsup2
