We will be going in March 2012 (Spring Break).I am open to any value resort. My family consists of 5 --me, DH, DS 9, DD 7, and DS 4, BUT grandparents will be coming so we will get 2 rooms and one child will sleep in their room. I want good bus service, great Disney theming, good food (as I think we will skip the DDP this trip and try to save some $$$).
I was thinking POP, oldest son wants sports, I think MOVIES could be cool and all 3 kiddos would like, HELP!!!!!
We have gone 2 times before, but always stayed at POFQ, but are going to go as cheap as we can this time... Thanks!

Oh boy thats a tough choice. I LOVE Sports because its smaller and quaint. Pool is wonderful, great water temp! Lol. POP is my fave thou, because the food court is pretty wonderful, huge selection. My fave is the asian food, the beef/brocoli with rice. And also the lo-mein noodles. YUMMY! I also love that the gift shop is connected to the food court. POP still has a disney feel to it cause of Mowgli/Baloo and Lady/Tramp. Its so much fun for adults too. My son looked at the walkman and asked "whats that?". hahahaha :lmao:

I havent been to movies, but i hear thats another popular one. It all depends on what theme your family likes best.

Just remember, Sports/Music/Movies shares a bus sometimes, making it very crowded on buses. Whereas Pop has its own bus! A huge bonus in my book.

I vote for POP first, then Movies. I love the value resorts!!

I would vote POP, just for the busses alone. The last 2 years we stayed at ASM and ASMo. There was not one day where the buses were not packed, even at pick up at the hotel! When someone said, sometimes they share a bus, I would change that to most of the time. We have had nothing but trouble with the buses at the ASR. The only time I noticed them using seperate buses was at park closings. And of course, we were always the longest line! ;) It was annoying, but, we let nothing damper our WDW trips!!

We still had a blast and DS loved the Fantasia pool at ASMo! There is a staue of Sorcerer Mickey and he squirts water! BIG ADVICE: pay for the perferred room!! It is totally worth it not to hike it back to your rooms after a long day at the parks! We stayed in the Dalmatian buildings and DS loved the huge staues of Pongo and Perdita, as well as the "bones" in the sidewalks. He would sit on every bone and tell me to take his picture!! The food court is pretty good, typical CS meals. But, the portion sizes, OMG! Me, my sister, and DS would share one adult dinner! That is how much food you get! Hope you and your family have a great trip!!

Becuase you said the grandparents are going this time I think you should stay at the Sports. Each All Star is much smaller than the Pop, so you have better odds of getting a seat on the bus from the Sports. Even on the rare occasions that the All Stars share a bus, the Sports is the first stop.:)

You also will have to deal with fewer people in the food court and by the pool if you are looking for a place to sit and relax at the Sports than you would at the Pop.:thumbsup2

you can't beat Pop Century. Theme is amazing, food court is good, and bus service was never a problem.

POP!!!!! Even my dad likes it and he hates traveling. (he was 74 last trip) The food court is great and it is just a fun place. I never had a bad experience there.

I vote for POP. Was just there from June 3 thru June 11. First time at a value....and I am hooked. The bus service was the best I have ever had at Disney. I have no complaints about anything with this resort. Room was very clean. Service was great.
