Which Value/Moderates have the best beds?

I use a memory foam mattress at home due to issues with my back. Stayed at AKL (splurge trip) this past spring, and the mattress was too hard. They were nice enough to put a foam topper on it and that helped. My next trip I'll more than likely be staying in a Value/Moderate resort in January or February.

That being said, I'd like to direct the following question to those fellow Dis folks who have stayed in different resorts... Which resorts have the best beds?

The refurb rooms at Pop have brand new mattresses that are super comfortable (old rooms not so much). Somewhat firm without being too hard. Though in Jan. or Feb. you wouldn't be guaranteed a new room as the refurb won't be complete until later in 2018. Also, the new rooms at CSR have nice mattresses (been a long while since I've had an older room so I don't remember about those). They may be the same mattresses but I'm not positive. Again, refurb isn't complete so not a guarantee. I stayed at CBR in early 2016 and I don't remember them being particularly comfortable or not.

I can't speak to the other values/mods.

We just stayed in one of the refurbed rooms at Pop and the beds were wonderful! My wife is 6 months pregnant and she was very comfortable. I haven’t stayed in one of the older rooms but a complaint I have typically heard about the normal value beds is that they are hard.

We actually did a split stay between Pop and AKL Kidani Village and I liked the Pop beds better personally.

That's almost impossible to answer as mattress comfort is highly personal and can vary from room to room at the same resort. Even bed to bed in the same room.
