Which Vacation is Right for Me?

I don't have that on my screen....maybe because I play with the website too much they know not to ask.
I'm thinking it may have to do with cookies and loading a new vs. old version of the website.
Or browsers (I use Chrome and have it set to not store any websites, always load new)
Considering we've gone 12 times in the past year I don't think it's based on how often ones goes ;)

That would be the smart answer. I liked mine since I have to wait at least a year before we go again.

I had to clear my cookies but was finally able to see it. It was off by pretty much everything. It had me staying at the GF, which I love but haven't stayed there since the Epcot resorts opened, I prefer those. Had me doing dining plan, nope. Used to do it and found I prefer to do it out of pocket, just suits my style more. Had me doing 6 nights, which is o.k. I do that often. Single day tickets, nope, I have an AP now but even if I didn't I would have park hoppers, always have always will. 2 days at each park. Nope, the time frame they had me going was the last week in Oct. which was o.k. I guess, I don't normally go that late, it's usually sometime in September or first of Oct. but they were factoring in F&W, which I do go for. Only two days in Epcot, nope, for F&W I'm there every single day for a while. Again, with PHs I don't do a full day in any park especially since during F&W I always end up at Epcot during the late afternoon/evening. Had me spending over $4000. Not even close. Hard to say what actual cost would be since I'd have to do math and I hate that (even though I am a bookkeeper) but since I have an AP and pay the renewal price and not the first time price math would be required. I don't even know how much the renewal is right now but I'm going to guess high at about $680. So let's assume two trips on that pass of 5 nights 6 days each, that's 12 days. That's around $340 per trip for tickets. My next trip in Sept. I'm going solo and doing a split stay. I'm thinking 2 nights at CS and 3 nights at some Epcot resort, probably Swan. Even factoring in the silly resort fee and parking at Swan, right now I can get that split for around $1250. (that is going through Orbitz for the CS using the current Orbitz discount code, that is subject to change if WDW comes out with a better AP discount). So for tickets and lodging I've spent $1590. I certainly don't see me spending $2400 for food, even doing all the seminars and special events I might want to do at F&G and snacking around the world I don't think I could spend more than $500. Had me riding RNRC, Mission Space and Star Tours, none of which I can ride because of neck/back and movement issues. Cute exercise though.

I can see it now. I never, ever, ever think to clear my cookies. Thanks for reminding me. :)

Ok, I tried it also. I planned a solo trip in the fall. It suggested CBR with a pirate room! Hhmm...not anything that I would be interested in as a solo adult! They also suggested 2 days in each part except only one at Epcot and the QS dining plan. I think I had better plan my own trip. I don't think there is enough to do at DHS for two days but I definitely want 2 days at Epcot!

When we stay at the Caribbean a few years ago, the check-in CM made a big deal about how he's upgrading us to a Pirate room. We walked into the room and were tempted to go back and request our originally booked standard room. Just not to our taste. And besides, the upgraded room was in the farthest possible building from the food court. We did have a nice water view, however.

I'll have to check out that Plan Your Vacation feature of the website and see what it suggests.

I got to say the website is being extra frustrating today. I can't pull up any tickets, ADR, resort reservations, photos, nothing.
Cleared cookies, tried all browsers, nothing works.
I've begun to feel like they really don't want me to come back next month.

Here's what they gave me. 2 adults, I selected Romantic, Active, and Relaxed, and holiday season. Hotel preferences were great views, kitchenette, and cool pool. They also gave me the 2 days at each park except for Epcot! That is bizarre, seems like either a glitch, or there's some strange reason they're trying to keep people away from Epcot?

It's not working for me either, I suspect from someone saying crash that it's popular and broken right now :(

I played around with Edge today and it didn't have it even after I cleared all cookies and cache
Doesn't seem to appear on Safari on my iPad either. Nor do I see it on Chrome on the iPad
The first time I saw it was on Chrome on my Macbook and it's visible on Chrome on my PC

That's strange because it worked for me earlier, at 2:45ish, and it looks like it's still working now, if I go back to it. Odd.

(I'm using Chrome on my office desktop. Shhh, don't tell my boss, lol)

I think this is a cool idea for people new to WDW vacations. It didn't recommend anything too crazy for me! :)

That would be a major downgrade in my book!

I agree! What is the deal with giving all of us just one day at Epcot?! Crazy.

Mine is pretty close. The picked Sept 18-23 at Beach Club F&W, DDP, 2 days in Epcot, 2 days at AK, 1 day in all other parks.
We are going Sept 16-21, staying at BWV, DDP, going to F&W, no plans for any park but Epcot.
There's was $1200 more than I'm paying though LOL

Clearing my cookies did the trick:) It recommended beach club, but at almost 2K over what we are paying through Travel Agent for BWI!
