Which Universal hotel has the best pool...

I was wondering which Universal hotel has the best pool...

The most important aspects for my family would be
1) Long slide
2) Big sized pool or pools
3) Not over-crowded
4) Theming

Thanks for any thoughts on this.

PBH has three pools. You don't "feel" crowded in the least. They have a beach, villa, and quiet pool. I know they have two hot sauna's at both the beach and villa pools. The beach pool has a great slide and is very well done on theming.

I agree Portifino Bay is the place to go. I haven't seen it but I hear Royal Pacific Hotel has a nice pool.

Hard Rock Hotels pool has a big water slide. I don't use the pool but I heard it has some big time state of the art underwater music system. I think on Sat. nights they show a movie out by the pool. also, they have a ping pong table and this really neat chess and checkers set where the checker pieces are huge and take two hands to pick up. I once saw them filming a spanish soap opera out at the pool. btw, their pool is huge! and they play rock music out there and have little cabanas you can rent that have tvs in them plus a pool side bar. there is a picture of their pool on their web site. have fun! I'm thinking of going down next month for a few days myself but need to use our timeshare. (ugh!) at least januarys are not crowded

The worst part about the HRH pool is the max depth is like 3 feet. The pumped in music is cool though.

We LOVE the HRH pool! I'm not one to spend my time at US in the pool but the last trip we stayed at HRH and we had to check out the pool for my husband.

Well, we ended up staying at the pool for several hours each day of our trip! Its fantastic! The music is great, the pool bar is great (except that you can only get food until 8 PM or so), the slide is fun and the zero entry at the "beach" is cool!

PBH - Nice quiet pool area that makes you feel like you are on a private beach. Has a water slide that is fun for kids.

HRH - Party like pool that plays music throughout the day. Has a water slide for kids.

RPH - Not as loud as the HRH, but not as quiet as PBH. Has a tropical feel to it, and instead of a water slide has a water play area with water guns and water coming from the ceiling of a ship themed play area.

All three pools are great, they do vary slightly, but not by much.
