Which unit best at OKW

Hi All,

We will be going home August 19-30 this summer and wondering if anyone has visited OKW lately and can tell me if any studio units have been updated. I heard a rumor that they would all be refurnished and I would also like any other suggestions as to the location of the buildings to the pools, the boats, to Olivia's and the shop.

Usually OKW refurbishes buildings in order of their age. Lowest numbers are oldest buildings etc.

As for best location; that is all relative. We like most areas we have been in, and there is not really a BAD one. If you have access to the map in the guide book, you will see that most buildings are accessible to a quiet pool or the main pool. We prefer the quite ones, but if you have teenagers, they will prefer the main one. Because the resort is so large, being close to HH is not so important. The bus stops make it easy to get around the resort. That is why the bus stops at HH last, just before it leaves the resort.

Most of us come down to some specific preferences after a few trips. We like the Southpoint area on the canal side of the resort. Mostly because it is close to the DTD walkway and FAR from the busy area of the HH!

Since most studios are part of a 2 bedroom lock off, they probably would not refurbish just studios. We have not had many issues with conditions of the room in 5 years of multiple trips.
