which TS restaurants if OOP?

Looks like we will be opting OUT of the dining plan for our Oct/Nov 2010 return to Disney.

Since we are staying at Fort Wilderness and really aiming for a whole different experience this time, we think it will be the better option for us.

That said, we do still want to have a sit-down meal or two for the days we are in MG, Epcott, MGM, and even Downtown/Boardwalk area.

Looking for suggestions which places we should make ADRs for dinner. None of us are really picky, my 16-yr-old will need vegetarian options though. Moderate prices would be more our style too.

So, where have you had a good meal for a decent price??

I guess if I was paying OOP (we get the DDP) and could only do a few it would be my favorites.
Price would not matter. When we go we have to hit these:

Crystal Palace, just love the food and the characters. The place itself is so quaint I love the atmosphere and the decorations. We always do dinner here if that is another thing you would want to know.

Next would be DH's favorite, Whispering Canyon Cafe. Not only do we like the food there, he loves the antics and messing with the servers. LOL
I like the boat ride over from MK.

Then if we had one more to do it would have to be either Chef Mickey's or Ohana.

At MK, I would do Crystal Palace or head out to Chef Mickey's
At DHS, 50's Prime Time
At Epcot, Teppan Edo or Rose & Crown
Boardwalk area - ?? (I have heard good things about Cape May Cafe, though)

Buffets are good if you are oop, that way you can get appie, entre and dessert without worrying about cost.

I second the suggestion of Crystal Palace, we love it!

Also, when we go oop, we usually have a late Brunch or early dinner to fill up on then snack CS the rest of the day. That way you space out your meals.

Other OOP places (reasonably good deals) we like:
Biergarten
Cape May Breakfast
Hollywood n Vine
Sci Fi
The Plaza
Beaches n Cream

DTD is good for CS imo, you can't go wrong with Earl of Sandwich or WP Express (the latter is a little pricey).
