Which TS restaurants have bar seating?

Hi all! I will have a solo day during my trip and am trying to book a TS dinner somewhere I can sit at a bar. I don't know if I would feel comfortable sitting alone at a busy restaurant and taking up a table for two when it would just be me.

Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks in advance!

We love to sit at the bar at Yak and Yeti - no wait and the bartender is always great to chat to.

Wolfgang Pucks in downtown Disney.

Nice food at Il Mulino at the Swan was good too.

Tune in lounge. Fried chix is great. RFC, T-rex or Paradiso at DTD. Crews Cup is good too!

I second Tune-In Lounge. Also, they don't have too many options, but you can get the 'Ohana coriander chicken wings and other items at the Tambu Lounge in the Polynesian. (and Lapu Lapus - the drink in the pineapple!)

ETA: Tune-In Lounge is at 50s Prime Time Cafe, FYI!

Rainforest Cafe in both DTD and AK - Great because you get to sit on animal butts!

Also Raglan Road in DTD, which is a great restaurant.

I don't think you even need a ressie to sit at the bar. I've done walk ins at Yachtsman (Admiral's cup?) and Yak & Yeti.

Bar seating and a full meal also at Shulas and Citricos..

Should note that the bar at Yak and Yeti is VERY small--maybe 8 seats or less.
But it is nice!!

I don't think you even need a ressie to sit at the bar. I've done walk ins at Yachtsman (Admiral's cup?) and Yak & Yeti.

apparently you now need one at Flying Fish unless you want to wait 20-45 minutes.

I have not had problems being seated at any other bar I tried.

Wow, thanks for starting this post. I was wondering the same thing since it will be an adult only trip this time around, I usually have a niece or nephew along and we wanted to take a break in the evening and have a few drinks. Wasn't sure if we needed ADRs but looks like we don't and can just walk in and now I know where the bars are! Thanks!!

I asked this a while ago and got some good ideas. Have been to Tune In a few times with friends, I plan on trying Flying Phish next vist during marathon weekend.

Flying Fish has a great bar overlooking the kitchen - I think they called it the Chef's Bar last time we went. The chefs interacted with us the entire time, and it was a nice alternative to sitting at a table. It would be great for a solo diner!

You can sit at the bar at Rose & Crown in Epcot but I don't think an ADR will allow you to sit there, I think it's first come first served. They serve food at the bar, but it may be a limited menu - someone else can confirm this.

is a good option but when I was single I went hundreds of times when I lived in Florida and never felt uncomfortable eating at a regular table. I'd say maybe 10% of the time I would end up sharing a table with another solo traveler and making a new friend.

My wife says I'm just too outgoing )

I've also done a few solo trips. I find it much easier to strike up a conversation at the bar than at a table, and have yet to be paired with another solo diner. YMMV, I'm sure.

Mrs U and I always eat dinner at the bar in any restaurant (here and at WDW) where we can do so. Lots of times we'll encounter singles and/or other couples and it's always easy to strike up a conversation.

And the bartenders themselves, of course, who always have plenty to say about their own restaurant and lots of other things as well
