Which TS did you not want to go to, but ended up loving?

This is an easy question. When we went on an extended family trip in 06 I chose not to go to a few places my brother wanted to go but did get talked into Boma. I love it now. It is a must do on every trip. In 06 I got my picture with Dan Zanes while we were heading in to AKL for Boma and then the food was so good that I just fell in love with the place. I added a day on to my next vacation in order to fit Boma and KSC in this trip.

well I wouldn't go as far as "Didn't want" to go cause I'll try anything once. But for years, we just had zero interest in Le Cellier because we felt that
a) We WERE Canadians, felt silly to go eat at the Canada restaurant.
b) Why was canada represented by a Steakhouse anyway?

But last trip, we decided to try it out and absolutely loved this place.

Sorry to get :offtopic: , I just wondered: what foods/dishes are considered traditional Canadian cuisine??

To get back on topic, for me the biggest surprise was definately Biergarten! This was DF's choice & I was expecting to eat bread & salad & get a CS meal somewhere else afterwards. I've never had German food prior to this trip, but I do NOT eat sausages or anything related to a sausage. Well, I ended up to find so many yummy choices here, I ate TOO much!! Aside from the food, the decor and the band were fantastic! Now it's on MY list of things to definately do as well as on my DF's list!

I would have to say it was The Plaza at the Magic Kingdom. While we did not hate it or anything, we decided to go there to try something different and later on we thought it was not the right place for us.
