We are heading to DLR for the first time this June. I am very excited about staying at DLH, but am wondering if I should request a certain tower to stay in. Is one of the towers closer to the theme parks? Which tower is check-in area, and restaurants?
Thanks!:)

Magic: check in, goofys kitchen, steakhouse 55
Dream: closest to DTD and neverland pool entrance
Wonder: overlooking waterfall, koi ponds (w/view rm)

Is it much busier/noisier in the Magic Tower because of check-in and restaurants? Or do you think the convenience outweighs any extra noise? I actually think it would be fun to walk through the hotel, and see the characters in Goofy's kitchen every day! Or is that restaurant closed off from view? I am envisioning it being set up like Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary in WDW.
Thanks for you input!:)

If you stayed in the Magic tower you wouldn't walk by Goofy's Kitchen as it is towards the back of the property.

What room type are you booking?
If you booked a standard, request the Magic. We had a standard room in the Magic last month and had and AWESOME view of the fireworks. We could look to the right and see Splash Mountain and parts of Thunder Mountain and the castle. We could also hear the Mark Twain. I didn't notice too much more noise in the standard room of the Magic. Yes there was a little more traffic noise during the day, but it wasn't loud.
If you booked a view room, request the Dreams tower. You will more than likely get a refurbished room and your view will either be of the hotel grounds or Downtown Disney.
The Wonder tower is nice if you booked a view room because you will be overlooking the waterfalls and koi ponds. I will miss being able to open my door and hear the waterfalls once they redo the rooms.

Jumping in with another question. Our son is deathly afraid of fireworks. We are staying Sunday - Friday so we might not even see fireworks, but if we do, which tower is the best for facing away from the fireworks and not hearing them?
