Which tour?

I've been reading about the Keys to the Kingdom, Undiscovered Future World and Backstage Magic. I know Backstage is twice as long as the other 2. Epcot is our favorite, but I've been wanting to see the utilidors. We're going next week and staying at Poly for the first time. Which tour do you like? What are the pros and cons? Which tour would you pick? I'd like to do them all but can only do one for now and save the rest for future trips. I've read tour reports on All Ears. Backstage Magic is $200 which is a lot, and the others are 50 and 60. Thank you for your help! Can't wait til we leave on Monday! :jumping3:

We just got back and did keys to the Kingdom and Undiscovered Future World. Both were great tours, however, Keys was, in my opinion the better tour. There was lots of information that was universal to all the parks and you get to see how lots of things are done. If you are able, try to request Shannon. She was, by far, the best tour guide I have ever had, anywhere, and she was a big key to my fiancee and I having a very magical week (we started our trip off doing the Keys tour, and it really set the tone for a magical week).

we have done both tours you are considering. of the 2 we enjoyed KTTK much more. we had Rae as our guide and she was very knowledgeable and enjoyable. KTTK~sure bet!! :teleport: :earboy2:

We were supposed to have Rae as our guide, but two folks did not show up for Shannon's tour and we were early, so they asked us if we wanted to go earlier. We said yes, and the rest is history. We ended up bumping into Rae's group later on in the day.

It depends on how much you know about the parks.

KTTK is great if you don't have much behind the scenes knowledge of WDW. If you do, Backstage Magic is much better even though it's more money. Both of those tours will take you in the Utilidors.

Have fun!

We did Keys to the Kingdom last December and just Monday did Undiscovered Epcot. I adored them both. Tim was our guide on Monday. I would go with whichever is your favorite park of the two. You can't go wrong.

My DW and I both thought the KTTK Tour was excellent. A lot of great info about the park; backdoor entrances into some attractions; lunch; and a very nice pin. However, IMHO, the Utilidors were the least interesting part of the tour. I guess I had expected more from this part of it. It was like walking through basement hallways in a school or something. Of course, I guess that's all they really are but it would have been nice to get to check out some of the different rooms and things. This is a great tour, though, and you will enjoy it. :D

We picked KTTK & the Segway tours for our upcoming trip. I want to try DH out on a couple shorter tours & then do Backstage Magic on a later trip. Maybe on a solo or just me & DS trip, I'm not sure DH would enjoy a full day tour.

For our Hidden Treasures of World Showcase, we had Tim. He was pretty cool.

We had Rae for KTTK this past May- she made the tour awesome!! I would take it again in a heartbeat! -Steph

KTTK would be my suggestion. We did that in November and enjoyed it. It was our first tour and our second favorite (hard to beat Dolphins in Depth). We'd never been on a tour and it was our first trip to WDW, we thought it was very interesting and entertaining but it lasted a very LOOOONNGGG time. We didn't really see the appeal of "touring" the utilidors and could have done without it. If you are not sure your DH would want to take a day long tour start with a shorter one and work your way up.

My wife and son have done the segway tour. They had a great time. The tour is really just an excuse for one to try out the segways.
