Which to pay OOP for?

Here are our ADRs:
Cape May Cafe dinner
San Angel Inn dinner
Sci-fi lunch
Chef Mickey breakfast
Crystal Palace breakfast
Whispering Canyon dinner
T-Rex lunch

We had planned to pay OOP for T-Rex, but now that it accepts the DDP I'm rethinking my strategy. My other choice would be the Sci-fi lunch. But am I correct to think that with the DDP you can get a milkshake as a drink? We LOVE shakes and that would significantly add to our OOP cost. Also if we pay OOP I'd probably skip dessert. Which has better desserts? T-Rex or Sci-fi?

I thought with Sci-Fi you can substitute a milkshake as your desert. I'm sure if I'm wrong someone will correct me.

As for which OOP, your best bet is to figure out what you will likely pay OOP for each restaurant, and then choose the cheapest to pay OOP!

I don't know if Sci Fi does the milkshake for drink substitution. I know that we did it at 50's prime time.

I think moneywise, a buffet breakfast will come out cheaper, unless you are sharing meals somewhere else.

I would do the cost analysis between Crystal Palace and SciFi. One of those two will be the lesser.

You can order a milkshake at Sci Fi as your drink OR your dessert. Probably a better value to make them as your drink so you can still get a dessert, but we were very full. I don't remember the dessert at Sci Fi to be anything to write home about.

Look at the menus on allears.net and tally up how much each meal is based on what you might order. When you determine which ones are the cheapest, figure out which places have the desserts you would want and keep them on DDP and pay OOP for the other

Last trip I payed OOP for Sci-Fi.I would compare cost on the buffets,and San Angel and go from there.Generally if I have to go OOP, breakfast would be cheapest.You may consider swapping a lunch with a better value CS like CHH,Flame Tree or Cosmic Rays.
