Which to choose? POR or POFQ?

I'm not saying that I need a vacation or anything, but I am already planning my next one for May 2006 and my September 2005 trip hasn't even been taken yet!

I have never stayed at either POR or POFQ, but have heard a lot about them. It will be for a solo trip. Any suggestions on which one to pick? Thanks! :flower:

I'd go with FQ - it's smaller and more compact. As a solo female, I'd feel safer there (although POR is beautiful and no doubt just as safe). POR is much more spread out. IIRC, bus service is better at FQ as well - less chance of having to stand as buses pick up and drop off at FQ before going to POR.

Best wishes -

I say go with POR......With them you get the choice of the Boyu or Mansions.

POR is my favorite. We walked to POFQ for breakfast and, though I thought it was nice, it actually was TOO small for my tastes. POR IMO has more charm even though it is more spread out. If you want something small, then definitely go for POFQ, but the mansions at POR are beautiful, as is the walk to the food court and Ol' Man Island(main pool). Its just a perfect place to take a stroll around the grounds. Have fun wherever you decide to go! :flower:

I've stayed in the mansions at Riverside and at FQ, (and I've requested AB for my Oct. trip). If I was going by myself, I think I'd choose FQ. It has beautiful landscaping and the atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing. To me, the smallness makes for less hassle. Everything is easy to get to. Plus, you always get on the bus first.
