Which time is busier?

The week of Thanksgiving (sat to sat) or the week after Christmas (from the 27 through Jan 2 or 3)? I've never been during those times of the year, we usually vacation in Oct but we may be interested in visiting during the holidays in the future.

Christmas week is busier. MK will usually close at least once or twice a day each day to all guests. Thanksgiving is busy, but not so much.

The week of Thanksgiving is uncomfortably crowded. The week after Christmas is an absolute nightmare! You're talking 2-3 hour waits for several attractions, shoulder-to-shoulder crowds in every park, and paying through the nose for your resort stay.

We went the week after Thanksgiving a few years ago and it was wonderful. The crowds were manageable, the weather was perfect, all the Christmas decorations were out and they were even filming the Disney/ABC Christmas Parade on Main Street USA that week (I always assumed it was live before). If the kids schedules allowed we would do that week every year.
