My plane arrives at John Wayne airport at 11:15 a.m. on a Friday in March, and my daughter's plane arrives at 8 p.m. We'll be at the parks Sat. and Sun., and I would like to go for the remainder of Friday as well. I have 4 one-day park hoppers (comp tickets from when I worked at The Disney Store - expiring 12/15/06) that can be used for either Disneyland or WDW, and I had planned to use all of them for our weekend at Disneyland. My question is:
1. Should I buy a one-day ticket @ $59 on my arrival day? I will take a shuttle from the airport to my hotel (Doubletree) and then the hotel's shuttle to the park at the top of the hour - so might not get there until ~1:15 at the earliest.
2. Should I forget about going into a park on Friday and just hang out at Downtown Disney/resort hotels?
3. Should I buy the 3-day hopper @ $119 now, and save the 2 hoppers I would've used for later in the year at WDW? I have a WDW annual pass that expires Nov. 29 - so would be able to use only one of the leftover days for myself when I return from a Disney cruise - but could give the extra ticket to a friend or family member.
Thanks for any help!
