Which ticket is better for 3 day trip, bonus pass or 2 day/ 3rd day free?

We will be at Universal Resort for three full days. We will go to the parks 2 of the days or possibly all 3 days. I have found good prices for the bonus pass ($89.95 and no eticket charge - AAA) and the 2 day/ get 3rd free ($87.26 and $2 eticket charge – Fan Club). So the cost difference comes down to pennies. Is there an advantage of one ticket over the other since we will only be there 3 days? At first I thought we might have a day left over if we only go for two and got the 2/3 ticket, but from what I can tell, the days do expire with that one. Is it a toss up?!

The bonus pass is good for five CONSECUTIVE days. So five days after you first use it, it expires. Are you sure the three day pass expires? If you can save that extra day for another visit, go with the three day. If not, it really doesn't matter which one you get.
