Which Thanksgiving meal would you choose?

Long time lurker, first time posting!

Although we've been to DW quite a few times, this year will be our first visit for Thanksgiving. I have several ADRs and we're having a hard time deciding which one to keep!

It will be 4 of us: me, DH, DD11 and DD9. The girls are very picky, especially DD11, who won't eat turkey and will probably end up eating mac and cheese, pizza, or just bread. DH and I want a traditional Thanksgiving lunch/dinner, though. I'm looking for good food and good ambiance.

Which one of these would you choose: Diamond Horseshoe, Trail's End, 50's Prime Time or Whispering Canyon? Why?

If you're concerned about pickiness, I think Whispering Canyon and Trail's End serve ONLY a special Thanksgiving menu and none of the regular menu on Thanksgiving Day -- no a la carte at WC or TE.

So if picky concern is there, 50s PT serves theirs ON TOP OF the usual menu. Dunno what Diamond Horseshoe does.

Love Trails End. We are going there for our Thanksgiving meal this year as we are going over Thanksgiving week also (this is our 8th Thanksgiving trip) Love my comfort food.

Do you have 4 ADR's for Thanksgiving? It is one of the busiest days of the year. Other families have been unable to get even one. Please decide ASAP and cancel what you will not use

I would go Trail's end they will cater for all your lovely family. Turkey, pizza, they may even have mac n cheese. Lovely setting at FW. I think ideal. I would book soon!

That's the idea of this post! Actually I got two out of those four in the last 2 days so it is still possible to get an ADR. But I don't want to hold on to them too long.

I was full after eating the whole meal. It is a generous portion of food to eat.

I am not sure if all the resorts change their menu on Thanksgiving, but we had a lovely experience at Coronado Springs. We actually had our Thanksgiving supper at the Pepper Market. It was so peaceful. There were only about five families in the whole place. There was a special Thanksgiving station set up with all the traditional foods and then there was also the standard pizza, sandwiches, mac and cheese, etc. While everyone else was in the parks fighting the crowds we had a great intimate Thanksgiving family meal.

Just another option, so the picky eaters can have their mac and cheese and you can have your traditional meal!

That's what I was thinking, too. Wanted something Thanksgiving-y, but just booked last week (POR) and haven't been able to get Liberty Tree. Maybe Trail's End is the next best thing, or better since it sounds like it has more choices.

One year we did Liberty Tree on Thanksgiving day at 2:00 and it was crazy crowded as was all of the Magic Kingdom. Another year we did non traditional eating counter service in Animal Kingdom but had gone to Liberty Tree the day before at lunch so that's an option too. But I think if some want a turkey dinner ON Thanksgiving Day and others want other things, Trail's End is the way to go. Just my opinion though

I was able to get a Liberty Tree lunch earlier in the week! I think we'll do that and then do Trail's End on Thanksgiving Day. That will help us avoid the crazy crowds and get plenty of Thanksgiving food and a little bit of everything else, too. Thanks for the idea!

Good choice! We'll be at Trails End on Thanksgiving too
