Which Style Crocs for kids?

shoes on a budget? why didn't you say that first? look at online stores like sierra trading post,zulily,amazon,etc for shoes? Amazon has great reviews on things to help you decide,and you can get good quality shoes on clearance right now.... FWIW,I think whatever you're comfortable in is fine, brands like crocs,Keen,etc are on clearance all over the 'net right now,try to choose a place that does easy returns too(like free) don't feel bad if you find comfortable shoes at walmart or payless either.... depending on the style you can find good shoes in many places....for years my ds wore the payless brand crocs style shoe in summer, he loved them,and wore out many pairs. Now he'll only wear these weird uncomfortable flip flops I got at walmart for 1.97....even though he has Keens,crocs,and Teva shoes also...so you never know!

I personally wear Crocs for the support. Certain ones at least. I love the ABF line.

But I agree on the slippery when wet bit. I've wiped out in various degrees a few times. Especially walking into our garage.

see,I find crocs incredibly supportive for my high arched,very picky feet! I love how they 'melt' into the shape of my foot,thus providing the perfect arch support....I wish the soles weren't as slippery on rainy pavement... true story, when we visited DL, one day it was pouring rain,and I had to go back to the room and get my nikes, b/c the pavement was like slick ice when I had my crocs on....I couldn't even walk!
