We are travelling to Disney with our 3 boys (12 and two 8 year olds). We are getting a stroller for one of our 8 year olds who has epilepsy and gets tired from the meds he takes. He weighs 60lbs and is 48 inches tall.

I'm looking at the strollers listed on orlandostrollerrentals and going back and forth between:

Mini GT single
Summit X3 Single

The Mini looks like it is less bulky to push around, smaller wheels, but I think he might feel more comfortable in the Summit. Anyone have experience with either of these? Is the Summit really bulky?

Okay I have only personal experience with the baby jogger city elite but I did a comparison of the two you're looking at via dimensions and I think I would go with the GT.

The summit weighs almost 8 more pounds when empty than the GT. Seat back heights are the same for both, but the head height on the GT is 2 inches taller, so that would give your son more headroom with the canopy over him. Shoulder width on the GT is only a half inch wider but as that would potentially be a point of discomfort I'd go with the wider of the two. The knee to footplate measurement on the GT is also a full inch longer which would be useful if his legs are longer.

I wish I could add in the table comparison here but I would personally go with the GT looking at the comparison of those measurements.

I should also state that there really probably isn't a wrong one here. Both are excellent strollers. I don't think you'd be terribly unhappy with either.

Hope you have a magical trip!

Edited that I got all his info from he baby jogger website at the bottom of each stroller's individual page.

I wonder if a "Special needs" stroller would be better? My friend's daughter is 10 and has a spinal condition; she uses a walker and wears a brace. When they went to WDW, they used a special needs stroller they borrowed from a friend. I know some of the rental places rent them.
