Which stroller to bring?

Hi all! We are vacationing at WDW this May for 10 days. We went to WDW 2 years ago and are eager to get back. My question is, I have a 7 year old and a 2 year old. Both girls. I bought a Joovy Caboose Varylight to take with us, which is a sit n stand stroller. My 7 year old is worried she will be tired enough to sleep at some point while we are out. I don't think she will get this tired. When we went two years ago when she was 5 she hardly rode at all. But we did have friends with us who had teenagers who were eager to carry her around. We also have a Baby Jogger City Select with 2 seats. Which I hate. And its a huge pain to fold. What do you think? Buy a different stroller? Or will the Joovy work just fine? Note: I am a stroller queen and have enough strollers to go around. I don't really want to buy a new one but all suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thank you!!

Which one is the easiest to push/fold/navigate around the parks?

When my kids were little we used two maclaren Volos for our Disney trips. Our third trip the two little ones were 4 and 6. We brought the strollers along "just in case". We said we would try going in the mornings without and we could pick them up during our afternoon breaks to use in the evenings if they felt they needed them. Two week trip and we never used them. Have never brought strollers anywhere since.

Are you planning to stay in the parks all day? Maybe you could plan in-park breaks or be willing to head back to the resort early instead of staying until closing if everyone gets extra tired? I really wouldn't imagine a 7yo would need a stroller enough to buy something new or to lug an extra large/ difficult stroller around for a whole vacation just in case they might want to use it.

My 7 year old is walking this trip. I say use the one you got and if your 7 year old gets tired they can rest in it.;)

Thank you ladies!! I don't think my 7 yo will need to ride as often she thinks. Considering she didn't ride much at all when she was 5 the last time we were at WDW. I think I will stick with my original plan and do the Jovvy stroller. I thought about renting a double bjcm double too. But I'm thinking our sit n stand will do just fine.

We just got back with my 7 (almost 8 year old). We had a double with us for her younger siblings and there were some times that a seat was open and she was happy to ride. But didn't really complain and did great on the days that the stroller was not an option. We did tell her before the trip that she is big now and the stroller wasn't an option for her. Then it was a treat when she did get to sit. She never got close to falling asleep in it, but we did take mid day breaks.

I'd look at how easy the Joovy is to push. We have a Joovy, different model, and while it is easy and comfortable to push in a mall or someplace smooth, it can be a pain outside with 2 bigger kids in it. We took it to NYC one day and it was awful. Disney is probably in between a mall and New York City sidewalks, but something to think about.

I took my 6yr last year and it was the first time without a stroller. She was fine, this year we have our 3 and now 7 going and are only taking our single seat peg..it does have a small stand on the back of it if she need to but we don't think so. Every child is different, only you know yours.
