title says it all, which stores can you double or even triple coupons at?
hoping to get a little more coupon savvy

TIA

It varies, depending on your location & stores in your area. For instance, I live in SW Washington, where Safeway allows up to 4 coupons to be doubled. The Safeway stores in the surrounding area do not allow doubles. Albertsons stores allows doubling when they issue special coupons in the newspaper. Some Kmarts have special double coupon events, but only in participating locations. What stores do you normally shop at? Someone closer to your area may know what stores you have available for doubling. For those wondering- The Extreme Couponing show that many people may have viewed, is not an accurate portrayal of how couponing works & most are not hoarders. I have never heard of unlimited double coupons-anywhere!-

If I am hijacking, sorry, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any stores that double coupons in the Orlando/Disney area?

I live in SE WA and our stores do not double coupons. When I lived in southern MD our Safeway occassionally doubled them. And when I lived in SW MI both Meijers and Spartain foods occassionally doubled. Each of these times it was only up to $1.00 per coupon.

I live in NJ and my ShopRite doubles coupons up to .99 and there is no limit on how many coupons you can redeem at any one time. We are lucky becuase they also take internet coupons too. The only time they don't double is if the coupon states "do not double" or it is over .99. It really does seem to matter which store you go to. My local A&P also doubles and occasionally triples (very rarely) but will not accept internet coupons. Target is GREAT because they allow you to use a Target coupon along with a manufacturers coupon! If it's also on sale that makes a fantastic deal!!! I coupon not hoarding or fanatical but I do have a small index card box where my coupons are seperated by category and have done very well over the yrs matching coupons with sales. My husband is always amazed at how well we do.

Wow! That's awesome :thumbsup2 I wish our local stores did that.

Shoprite
Acme
pathmark

All double coupons up to 99cent in value. dollar off coupons do not get doubled to 2 bucks.

Shoprite is my favorite because the usually give a number of in store coupons for $1.25-1.50 off.

In NE Ohio, Giant Eagle doubles coupons up to 99 cents all the time with no limit. Occassionally, Kmart will have a promotion and double coupons too.

I know Publix doubles coupons everywhere except Florida. I believe that it is not legal to double coupons within that state. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. :)

Shoprite
Acme
only fake doubles... up to 99 cents

Genaurdi's
Wegmans
True doubles .. 75 -1.50, 99 cent coupons 1.98

Walmart
Target, no doubles at all.

Publix does not double in some GA stores either.

King Kullen (in NY) also doubles coupons up to $1. They tend to be a little pricier than other supermarkets in the area, but it can work out cheaper if they have a sale and you have a coupon.

No grocery stores in FL double that I know of...

what's a fake double?

I think the poster meant that, if, for example, you have a coupon for 60 cents off, the store only "doubles" it to $1.00, not $1.20.

The local market in my town rarely doubles, but almost every other chain supermarket in South Jersey doubles for up to 99 cents, either "fake" doubles, or true ones. It's been that way for 30 years or more.

I don't know if there's a limit on how many coupons you can use; I only use "normal" amounts.

You can go to the websites for the stores that are local to you....they'll usually have a coupon policy there to read. It will tell you if they do any doubling and, if so, at which stores (for instance, in my area, one of the main groceries is Price Chopper...of the 30 or so stores they have in my area, there are 2 that double...up to $1 and up to 4 like items).

LOL.. Fake double is not a true double. We just call it fake double at our house. To be fair, a 50 cent couple is doubled to a dollar.

We use most of our coupons at true double stores *usually Wegmans*. I defnetely shop at Wegmans with my 55 cent or higher coupons.

Other NJ stores:

Pathmark - fake double
Aldi- no coupons
Big Lots -no coupons
BJ's Club- no doubling at all
Acme- fake double

CVS- no double
Riteaid No double
Dollar General no coupons
Dollar Tree- no coupons

thanks everyone!

in our local area we have
Price Chopper
Shop Rite
Aldi's
Hannaford's
Stop and Shop
and Adam's
