I want to rent a condo or townhouse for our May trip. We need a minimum of two bedrooms. But, as the AP cost is a distance memory and I have "free money" for food, I can go up to a three bedroom townhouse (splash pool) as a splurge.
I know you can get better deals renting directly from owners, and I have done so in the past. However, given the state of the economy and the number of "short-sale" signs I saw in 2010, I'm not sure I want to risk it. Your trip insurance is not worth much at 4:00 check-in when you find you have no accommodations for the week.
So, my question is.... Which unit did you rent from ALL STAR Vacation Homes, Oasis Vacation Homes or Florida Sun Vacation Homes? What did you like? Dislike? If you were happy with another management company's rental, please share that as well.
