Which special event would you choose?

We had an amazing trip this past June (our first as a family but my 8th overall - but it's been 19 years since my last trip!) DH enjoyed it much more than he thought he would, and has therefore agreed to go back in 2018. After that trip we will have a bit of a hiatus - 2020 is out 15 year anniversary and we decided to take the girls to St. Lucia (where we honeymooned). Since we will have a little bit longer break, I want to make this trip extra special and do a few events with the girls. They will be 9 and 6 at the time. We know we will be at the YC again and will be doing BBB again. I have already pretty much decided that we will book the Albatross cruise out of the YC for them. I want to book one more event as a family and wanted to get some input from others who have tried them already. Thanks! Please feel free to suggest anything I didn't put in - the SW desert party isn't an option though - none of us are SW fans.

None. Getting to disney, especially after 19 years with all it's changes, is already special.

Also your talking 2018, more new things should start to open up by then and with it will bring their special event options...

Good suggestion, hadn't thought of that! We didn't plan on hitting DS this time (weren't huge fans in June) but that might make it worth it if we could fit it in on our arrival night.

The thing is, a lot is going to change between now and 2018, so who knows what kind of special things there might be to do that don't exist yet. However, from the things we know of now, I would vote for tea - either regular afternoon tea service or the Perfectly Princess Tea Party. We did the party once when DD was about 7 and she and I have done afternoon tea a couple of times since then. For us, it's a distinctly girl thing to do - DH is in his own for an hour or two. We *love* it - if you're into tea.

La Nouba is another great suggestion - we are going for the 3rd time on our upcoming trip.

We go next month, and chose the Galactic Dessert Party at the Studios (SW fireworks) over MNSSHP. Time for something new, we have done the Halloween one the last 3 years.
