...one adult and one kids sweatshirt as well as the usual park stuff?

We also carry our small video camera, autograph books, sunscreen and water bottle. It looks to me that a medium would be fine but since the top of the bag tapers into a narrow section, I can't be sure by just the photo.

I have the medium bag, and I think the adult sweatshirt would just be too bulky to fit along with everything else. I can get a lot of items in there (which was a lot of fun when airport security decided to empty the entire thing), but the open space at the bottom is not really all that big.
