on-site restaurant menus that are as accurate and current as humanly possible?

I'm going to print off the menus for the restaurants we hope to get ADRs for because my oldest son (and my dh) really need to see the options beforehand in order to make their menu choices before we're actually in the restaurant and there's time pressure to make the choice KWIM?

Thanks!

You can't make ADR any sooner than a month from now (free dining doesn't start 'til mid August). I wouldn't print anything, esp for DS20. What I would do is give them a list of restaurants of you have some suggestions and send them to www.allears.net to take a look. It is the easiest way to view. Certainly DS is used to using the web and if DH is not I'd just have him sit next to you while you're on the site. You have at least a month to do this, plenty of time, have fun.

No menu is perfect. They are all what was served on someone's recent visit. Things can and sometimes do change.

The WDW website has current menus. Click on the restaurant, and look to the right hand side of the screen.

Lisalonglash, DH and I are arriving at ASMu on Sept. 14 too!!!

I would not print the menus until just before you go as they are regularly updated. www.allears.net is the source I use. I find the Disney web site to be most unhelpful.

Oh sorry, I should have been more specific. I know I can't make ADRs until 90 days out (thank goodness our wonderful TA will make those for us!), but I'm trying to put together a binder with restaurant information. Also, it isn't my step-daughter that needs to know beforehand (she's not coming with us this time), it's my almost 10yo son.

Thanks everyone for the responses, it looks like I'll just wait some, then print the menus off the allears site then :goodvibes

I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but I went to the World last year in September for free dining and it seems that a lot of the menus were changed it seems as a result of free dining (changing cuts of meat or taking some of the most expensive items off the menu.)

For example I went to San Angel Inn, used the site previously mentioned in this thread for menu reference before I got there and 90% of the menu was different when I sat down to eat. Just make sure that your family knows that what they pick, even on the most updated menu may not be on the menu when they sit down in the restaurant that day. It's better to use the menus as a general guide of what type of food you'll get, but don't be TOO heartbroken if they take your top choice off. Maybe have a backup choice planned just in case?

Thank you, that's a great point! I will make sure he knows that the menus are a guide and may not be identical to the menu when we get there. Every little bit of information I can give him beforehand will help him (and us!) to have a better time :goodvibes

Very cool! At this point, our dates aren't set in stone, but only because I haven't been able to find affordable flights at the times we prefer. But the dates will be around there! I'll let you know what the dates end up being - maybe we could have a drink at the pool and call it a DIS meet! :yay:
