Which Signature Resturant Should I choose?

Here are my current ADR's. My wife and I have never been to any signature dining resturant, and we'd like to visit on of them on the last night of our trip. Which would you recommend and why?

If possible we'd like to visit a place we havn't already been to, unless the resturant is worth going back to that particular resort/area for.

Here is our current schedule. (All Dinners)

12/18 - Kona
12/19 - Coral Reef
12/20 - Boma
12/21 - Whispering Canyon Cafe
12/22 - Cape May Clam Bake
12/23 - ?????????

We are on the Disney Dining Plan and will be using 2 TS Credits each for this meal, so I want it to be great!

Of the dining plan signatures, I rank them in this order:

Flying Fish
Citricos
Jiko
Ca Grill (only for the sushi, if no sushi, then I put Brown Derby before this one)
Brown Derby
Yachtsman
Artist Point
Narcoosees

I have dined at all of them at least 3 times, some of them over a dozen. My ranking is based on all experiences rather than one visit.

Flying Fish ranks first because I prefer to eat fish over red meat and FF has more variety in that area. Plus I do enjoy the cheese plate here more than the others at the other signatures.

Citricos is the most sophisticated both in plating and atmosphere. The menu is small but the food is always well prepared and service is always good.

Jiko is a beautiful restaurant and while I think the appetizers are more interesting than the entrees, the wine selection and soups are worth going for.

Ca Grill has excellent sushi. The restaurant is over-hyped otherwise and noisy/crowded/busy but the sushi and views are excellent. I'm not a dessert eater but I do think Ca Grill offers the best variety of desserts out of all of the Disney signatures.

Brown Derby has always been a good choice for us. The chefs know how to cook a decent piece of fish so I always get that here.

Artist Point/Yachtsman are both heavier on the red meat so that's probably why they don't rank higher for me. I do not like the decor at Artist Point so that kind of puts me off and other than the filets at Yachtsman (which I can cook at home or get anywhere else on property) I've never been overly impressed with the steaks.

Narcoosees ranks at the bottom. It's casual, the food is not very upscale and our last two meals here have made me feel like I was dining at a 1 credit restaurant. The lobster was very disappointing, quite rubbery. For fish, Flying Fish is much better but now that we go to bluezoo (not on dining plan), there's just no reason to go to Narcoosees.

Flying Fish and Citrico's are our favorites.

My boyfriend and I LOVED Kouzzina @ the boardwalk hotel. The food was fabulous! I don't eat seafood, but my boyfriend ordered the calamari and the fisherman's stew. I had a friend cheese app and lamb for my entree. My boyfriend also loved the freshly made doughnuts he ordered for dessert. I think this restaurant is overlooked!

Another vote for Flying Fish here! Absolutely perfect everytime.....

Cali grill would be our favorite, but there is a few I haven't gone to. My hubby is a meat and potato guy and does not like fish. Cali Grill had the best service and willing to make something not to crazy. I love the freshness and love the sushi. But Kona has sushi at dinner also that is wonderful! I went to Citrocos last year and they were great to my son who wants to become a chef and gave him a tour, but my husband did not really like any of the food. The other one we have gone to was Artist Point and we all liked that one also! The buffalo was neat to try and was very tender. My hubby loved it.

If I have to stick with the dining plan, I'd highly recommend Citricos and Artist Point.

Both have top notch service, a romantic atmosphere (Artist Point may be a bit more cozy) and to die for food creations. We were blown away by Artist Point on our last trip and it easily became our 2nd favorite restaurant on property (behind Bistro de Paris, but that's not on the DP)

Like many others, our top 2 include Flying Fish and Citricos (in no particular order). AP is more on the cozy/romantic side as a PP mentioned. Jiko is nice because it gives you a chance to explore AKL if you have not been there yet. The rest of the Signatures on the dining plan are really hit or miss and don't impress us much. I would also consider paying for a meal OOP and head to either Shula's or bluezoo.

Kouzina is not a 2 TS Signature Restaurant. That is what the OP is looking for.
I would recommend Jiko. It is a beautiful restaurant with warm, friendly servers and excellent food. We have also shared a bottle of wine recommended by our server and it was excellent.
But you might want to try Narcoossee's. If you time it right you could also go out on the porch and see Wishes during dinner.
Have Fun

We've tried almost every signature except for flying fish and my favorites are Citricos, Yatchman and brown Derby.

Pakeys ratings, except I'd put California grill just above Jiko, and Yachtsman above the Brown derby. Not a big Derby fan anymore since Fantasmic changed the look and feel of the restaurant.

But you can't go wrong with FF or Citricos.

jiko jiko jiko!!!

I'll also rank the signatures that I've been to: (I'm not a fish eater, but a meat eater)
1-Jiko...delish
2- Hoop Dee Doo (food is just decent comfort food, nothing fancy...but show is fun and you get beer and sangria too)
3- the Luau (food is good...show is nice and you get adult beverages here too)
4- Le Cellier (went a few times when it wasn't signature, but LOVE it...though now would have a hard time using 2 TS credits)
5- Artist Point (good, but didn't 'wow' us)
6- Brown Derby (disappointing)
7- CRT for breakfast (SO not worth 2TS)

Would love to try Yachtsman and Narcoossees.

Of the DDP signatures, I rank them:

1 - Citricos (eaten here 5x)
2 - Tie between Flying Fish (2x) and Jiko (3x)
4 - Tie between Yachtsman Steakhouse (1x), Artist Point (1x) and Cali Grill (4x)
7 - Brown Derby (2x)
8 - Narcoossee's (1x)

I would be happy to eat at 1-7 anytime. I rotate them all, but Citricos is always the best - outstanding food, amazing personalized service, and the most adult atmosphere of the signatures.

I have no desire to return to Narcoossee's. It's not worthy of a signature status. It's not bad....it just isn't on the same level as the others and when paying signature prices, I expect signature worthy food and service.

So my advice is to look at menus and see which appeals to you most because you can't go wrong with the first seven places I ranked.
