Which side of the path for rope drop

I'm wondering if there is a better side to be on for rope dropping pandora and Slinky dog dash. We have FOP FP so we will rope drop Navi. I ask because in DLR we rope dropped Radiator Springs Racers and followed the "wide right" technique and stayed to the far right. We were the first on the ride, whereas people in the front of the rope to the left got funnelled very far back in the masses. So does it matter? Left, right? Or does it all work out pretty much the same.

It doesn't matter as you'll be following the crowds for both. For Pandora you'll be heading left when you're near the tree of life. For TSL you'll be heading straight

For TSL just follow the old path you took to Toy Story Mania, but before you get to the old ride entrance take a hard right and you will see a big Woody and lots of great theming. You'll be at SDD before you know it.
For Pandora take the left you would take to get to Camp Minnie Mickey in the old days.
