Which Side Is The Master Bedroom On?

In 1 and 2 bedroom units, which side is the master bedroom on when you walk in the door?

I have been meaning to post this poll for awhile. I seem to mostly get the master bedroom on the left (12 out of 17 times). My sister has mostly gotten the master bedroom on the right. So I am curious to see what everyone gets.

We have always gotten it on the right side. Except for this last trip in Nov to VWL. We got a master bedroom on the left. First time.

We just got a VWL master bedroom on left...first time for VWL to get that. At BWV we've gotten both and at OKW we've gotten both.

We're equal, twice left, BWV and VWL, and twice right, OKW and BWV. Mostly, we do stay in studios.

We have only stayed twice. Both times on the right.

I glanced at the BCV floor plan in our paperwork from Disney and if it was followed then there should be somewhat equal number of left and right (the units appear to be mirror image across the hallway).

It seems that most of the times at OKW and BWV, I get the master on the left.

We seem to get a mix that is about equal. The wierd thing is that usually before our trip, I get a sense of which it will be that trip, and my radar has been right in every case! I guess i'm more of a clairvoyant than I know!

Over 30 DVC stays and we've had the master on the left in every one and 2 bedroom unit. The ONE exception was at VWL.

I've only gotten the master on the left side. This is in 8 stays.

Sometimes I forget they have them any other way <G>

Most of the time, the master has been on the left for us. My girls call the other arrangement the "backwards" room and they don't like it.

We had the master on the right both times, a 2 BR at OKW and a 2 BR at BWV.

I would expect the results to end up equal, but we typically end up with it on the left. There must be some personal preferences involved that is causing many of us to be so one sided.

Diane... we're headed to HHI in June. Are we going to get a marshview? Please, please....

On the right for the one and only "non-studio" stay so far. I'll let you know where it is for our April trip!!

My all of one time the master has been on the left. However when I visit my friend at the BCV her rooms have always had the master on the right.

We usually stay in studios but in the 2 times we stayed in a one bedroom, we had the master on the left at BWV and on the right at BCV. In our one stay in a 2 bedroom at BCV, the master was on the left.

Always on the right. Have I ever stayed in one on the left??????? No I don't think so. Might be kind of weird to have it switched up!

Wow, it is pretty even. Most of my left sided masters have been at BWV and both times at VB. BCV I had 1 left and 2 right. I have not stayed in one bedrooms at OKW or VWL yet. SSR our 1 bed was master on the right.

I definately prefer the left. I feel kind of out of place when it is on the right. I think that is because our first 9 or 10 trips it was on the left, so we just got used to it. I hope my trip in 2 weeks I get my master on the left

AT BCV I have had two rightsided masters, at OKW I've had 5 lefts and four rights, at SSR two lefts, at VWL one of each. In the larger hallway resorts I believe it might have to do with the odd or even side of the hallway. Not symetrical(mirror image)from one side of the hallway to the other, but adjacent because of the lay out of the blue prints.
