Which side is BEST for EA?

What side of EA is better?

  • A side is great...We go there first.

  • B side is fantastic, we always go there first.

  • A & B are both the same...I didn't see a difference in the amount of good vehicles.

  • Huhhh??? Is there really 2 sides? Never noticed before.

We have a car reservation through National's Emerald Aisle for November 30th for 3 weeks.

Where have you found the best cars on EA???

A side or B side? What have you found?

Do we have any chance of getting something nice on Nov. 30th at 10:30 PM???

We are flying in on United...Will we be closer to one side or the other?

Thanks

We always fly USAirways, which is B terminal so we always use B. They only time I've been to A is when friends arrived on Continental after us and we met them on A side and they got the car there. A seemed similiar to what I had seen on B in the past.

United arrives in B terminal. If you have checked luggage, you have to go down to level 2 to get it and then down to level 1 and across the street to the garage to get the rental car. If you don't like what is on B, you would have to go back up to level 3, cross the terminal and down to level 1 and across the street on A side. There's no direct connection on level 1, only on level 3. I don't think it's worth running back and forth to see which side has the best choice, it would take some time. If there are no cars you like when you arrive on B, I would look for an attendant, they may have one they can pull from the return aisle or allow you to upgrade. Or maybe they could call over to A to see what is there.

I have always been on the B side as I usually fly NW, and have had good luck there, in July I got a PT cruiser. Have also had a very nice Monte Carlo and also a brand new Camry(it just came off the truck only had 7 miles on it). Last week was on the A side, arrived about 8:30 pm only thing on the asile was a pick up truck, my sister went and talked to a attendant and he told us to go to the convertable asile and take what ever we wanted, had a very nice sebring

I didn't notice a difference in choices when we were there in August 2002. Keep in mind that now that there is Emerald Reserve you may not get many choices on either side. We just used EA at LAX and all that was on the aisle was intermediate.
