Please help me decide which showtime for the Candlelight Processional--5:00; 6:45; 8:15? What time do you like best and why?

Thanks!

Donna

I went to the 6:45 show last year, and if I had it to do again, I'd pick that same time, with dinner afterwards. For the first one, it's really not dark enough (at least in early December). And for the last one, when are you going to eat dinner? I don't like to eat beforehand, constantly looking at the time. And eating after that one would definitely be too late. Several times, I went to the tree lighting at 6:00, then over to the CP.

We had dinner at 5:00 or 5:30 and then went to the last show. I'm going to do the same thing this year. People start lining up about 45 minutes before the show, even for the reserved seating and it all worked out about right. When we made the reservations, they gave us dinner choice times that are geared toward going to the last show. Just as we got out of the show it was time for Illuminations, we watched that and had a casual walk back to the Boardwalk. It worked out nice for us. It was so nice with it dark too.

We like to go to the 6:45 show with dinner after. We stay at BWV, so we can take our leftovers back to the room after and put them in the fridge. We ate at LeCellier at 8:00 the past 2 years, worked out great. We got out of Epcot right before Illuminations started (we saw it on another night).

We saw the 6:45 show. It was dark by the time the show started. We ate at Rose and Crown afterwards. Our server asked if we were staying for illuminations. After dinner he escorted us to a special viewing area for R&C guests only. The view was spectacular. Completely unobstructed.

Last year we booked for dinner fist and then the show - big mistake. We had to rush thru dinner - checking our watches the whole time. Ended up getting the last remaining reserved seats and almost missed the show because teppanyaki had overbooked that night.

I'd say do dinner afterward if you can work it out that way.

We did the last showing (8:15) and had dinner at Le Cellier (WONDERFUL!) at 5:00. I loved this way of doing the package.

First of all, it was good to be at the first dinnertime - we had no wait and we didn't feel rushed either. We knew that we had plenty of time to eat and still make the show. After dinner, we had so much time that we decided to do something else before the show. We walked over to China, watched the acrobats and then headed to the CP line.

Was a wonderful evening!

I've gone to the middle show and eaten afterwards, and eaten early and gone to the last show. I prefer eating after the 2nd show so as not to rush through the meal.

We did the last show and then watched illuminations afterwards. We had dinner before but early enough we did not have to rush. Around 5:30 I think. I think the show is so much more magical in the dark. WE lined up just as the show before was letting out. I had no idea that the PS line would be so long and we really should have gotten in line earlier but we got fine seats and enjoyed the show. Only problem was there was a huge crowd leaving after illuminations that night but we just took our time and did a little shopping as we went and had no trouble getting a bus back to WL.

I am not sure what the candlelight processional is? Thanks ahead of time!

Thanks everyone for your helpful suggestions! Right now we're leaning toward the 6:45 show with dinner at 8 p.m.

chop456, the candlelight processional is held at Epcot during December. There is a reading of the Christmas story by a guest narrator with Christmas songs sung also. Here's a link to more info: http://allearsnet.com/tp/h_cpfaq.htm
