which show would you choose

Most fun dining experience at Disney. Food is ok, but the show is really fun. Every age will enjoy it. Watching my kids laugh is one of the best times of my life and they have a blast here.

I agree, it's the only show we have done and we keep going back every year. The kids don't want to miss it.

this is tough, because my family likes both about the same for different reasons, we try to do both while there for 2 weeks. But this year I am picking the Luau.

Luau is nice because of the time of year we go which is Nov. we have always had beautiful night for it. Second and most important reason I like to go is the firefighter, young gentlemen at the end of the show. He alone is worth going. My husband loves their salad I am sure don't mind seeing the beautiful ladies as well. The food we enjoy and my kids do too. The volcano being my daughters favorite along with firefighter.

Hoop de du is also a great slapstick comedy dinner. Food is good, I enjoy the fried chicken and salad and strawberry shortcake. My kids still think it is funny and like I said we do it every year.

The dinner show we always try to make our last night in Disney it is a fun way to end our vacation. Especially if it is the Luau and we get to see Wishes from the Poly beach. so my vote will go to the Luau.

HDDR would be our preference any day of the week and twice on Sunday. LOVE it!!! It is always funny, the food is always good, and the seating is better. We did SOA for the first time the past Oct. instead of our usual HDDR. I am glad we did it, but I don't forsee going back. The food was good, but I could have done without the first half of the show. The dances from the various islands and the fire dancer were far better. I think with SOA you really need to sit cat 1. We were in cat 2. and the view was so-so.
We've sat in all three seating categories for HDDR and had a great view of the show each time.

I just can't envision spending either the cash or dining credits for which I've paid on SOA. Maybe if I were with family that really wanted to do it, and we were going to have the amazing weather we had in Oct. For the money HDDR is a better value for us.
