I have dining reservations for 8 restaruants, 2 of which are signatures so it will use 10 credits and I will only have 8 on my free dining. I don't want to cancel any of them, so should I pay for 1 signature OOP or 2 of the others and which ones? Suggestions? Thanks!
Here are my reservations:
California Grill - D
Le Cellier - L
Rose & Crown - D
Boma - D
O'Hana - D
Kona Cafe - B
Citrico's - D
Via Napoli - D

I would suggest paying for your Kona Cafe breakfast. The prices aren't outrageous. I am planning on having breakfast there for our upcoming trip and I am planning on paying for it. We have also done so in the past. Not sure about the other though.

For sure Kona would be your least expensive meal, so would make sense to pay OOP for it and one other 1TS credit meal IF the total of the two was less than the cost of one of the signature meals.

It can be a real headache to do this,I know. I had to do the same calculations for our upcoming trip. The only thing to do is pull up the menus, estimate the cost of each meal, and see which option is the cheapest.

Kona Breakfast

Not any of the buffets/all you can eats they are usually more exp.

My guess would be either: Le Cellier Lunch or either Rose/Crown or Via Napoli for dinner. The a la carte menus usually have less expensive options than the buffet/all you can eat meals, and you can also forgo dessert to save a few more bucks if you want to!

I say O'Hana. Pay the one price, whereas at TS you pay for entree, dessert and drink. Unless you would skip dessert somewhere and/or drink water with the meal. You could get cheaper entrees at Le Cel, but why would you want to?

I would pay OOP for Kona and Rose & Crown. 'Ohana is almost $40/person. I also suggest checking the menus & prices.

Thanks for the replies. I will check the menus and do a little math.

for me I would choose the one I would enjoy the most. Doesn't hurt as much paying for it if its really good

Another thing to do is to look at the menus of the a la carte places and think about what you would really get there if you were paying OOP instead of on DDP. For example, at CG I would be most happy with a couple of appetizers instead of an entree because the apps really appeal to me. For me, it might make the most sense to pay OOP for CG. But, for someone else, the answer might be quite different.
