Yesterday was my birthday and for my present my family gave me a choice of something I want to do at WDW when we go in November for my daughter's first b-day and my husband's 36th. We have 2 older girls ages 6 and 8 and we have been to disney many times. Here is what I was already planning, dinner at 1900 Park fare, lunch at Crystal Palace for husband's b-day, Princess breakfast for Belle's first b-day. What I was thinking was changing Belle's b-day breakfast to the castle instead of Epcat just for the fun of being at the castle or taking an Illuminations cruise or either Hoop de do or the luau. What should I do????? Help! My husband said do which ever I want and he will not make a single complaint. Thanks

If I had the choice I think I would go for the Illuminations Cruise. How fun not to have to find a decent place to sit for an hour before the show!! (especailly with kids! I have 3 of my own;) ) If you can do the castle for breakfast I highly recommend it. The atmosphere is magical and the food and service were great!! I'm sure your daughters would love to be in Cindy's castle! ( I have all boys! I go to the castle for myself!!) Have a great trip and happy birthday:bounce:

Have to agree with Tinks....the Illuminations Cruise is really special. They used to have an add-on for birthdays where they would decorate the boat and have a cake. Wouldn't that be great!

We went on one a few years ago and brought a cooler with wine and appetizers...it was WONDERFUL!!

Thanks for your responses! I am still trying to decide but will probably go with the cruise.
