Which should I cancel?

I was going to pay OOP for one place but need to cancel 1 (maybe 2).

Which would you cancel?
Crystal Palace - Dinner 8/29
Whispering Canyon - Lunch 8/30
Sci Fi Diner - Dinner 8/30
Spoodles - Dinner 8/31
Ohana - Dinner 9/1
Norway Princess Breakfast - 9/2
Kona - Dinner 9/2
Coral Reef - Dinner 9/3
LeCellier - Lunch 9/4
Chef Mickey's - Dinner 9/4

Thanks for you Imput!:yay:

We did the Sci-Fi for dinner and didn't like it at all. The atmosphere is great, but the food is just awful.

I didn't even post this thread and I am CONFUSED! I wouldn't know what to pick after all of these comments. We are dining at some of these same restaurants, so I was looking for opinions, too. I almost feel like I should cancel all of them and start over, but I really don't want to do anything that drastic at this point. Some of them were very hard to get (and I am only going the second week of December, which is considered off-season and not so busy). I'm not sure what I'd end up with if cancelled or switched them now.

Save Sci Fi for when they are older. The logistics of WCC may be really challenging with your group. Unless you are staying at the resort and starting your day with WCC, I'd skip it as well.

Given the ages of your children no way I would cancel Chef Mickey's. I think the atmosphere and characters will be perfect for them.

I would cancel LeCellier! :lmao: That and Chef Mickey's on the same day is a lot of food and will take a lot of time from your touring day. You could continue to try to split them up to keep both. I'd try for Chef Mickey's on 8/30 assumming you intend to cancel both Sci Fi and WCC.

Our trips overlap and we have a 5yo pirate: with us. We've chosen these ADRs: Narcoossee's, Coral Reef(L), Chef Mickey's(B), Boma(D) and Hollywood & Vine (Fantasmic Dinner pkg); we are doing LOMH and the Pirate and Princess party so we think one character meal is enough. Coral Reef was selected for him as he loves fish and animals. He's been told that Mickey has invited us to his restaurant during our visit! We will celebrate his birthday at Chef Mickey's too, shh.

I would skip Whispering Canyon, and try to switch one of your Epcot restaurants to that day. This way you will not have three days dining in Epcot in a row, as it is now. Unless of course, you planned it that way for a reason?? Good Luck!!!

Sci-Fi would be the one I would skip. Atmosphere is good, but food is sub-par.

If I were paying out of pocket, I would cancel Coral Reef. I loved CR, but we had the dining pass and it used two credits which was fine, but it would have cost us $230.00 for three adults with one appetizer, entree, drink and dessert each!

Where will you be that day? If you are at MGM the answer is cancel WCC. If you will be at MK go to WCC for lunch. It is a lovely boat ride away. If you'll be at another park then cancel them both. You'd be wasting too much time traveling.

This is making me a little nervous. I have Sci-Fi, WCC and Spoodles booked. None seem to be very popular. Maybe I need to rethink some choices and fast.

Don't be nervous about your ADR's...if you haven't tried any of these places, your experience would be totally different from someone that ate there and didn't enjoy it. Just go in with the mindset that many of the restaurants put more emphasis on theming than the menu.

Just my opionion..........Spoodles is great, Sci-fi doesn't have the best food (burgers and that sort of thing is good) but has great themeing and is a lot of fun. WCC, now that I would change, bad food, loud, and just a waste of money. Again this is just my opinion.
Good Luck!!!

Hi,
For whatever my opinion is worth. I would cancel the Sci-Fi. Yeah, it's kinda cute inside, but you have to sit behind or infront of your other party members if there are more than 2 of you. Also, The food was not that great when we were there. We had many much better meals at other places. Also, the service is sometimes hit or miss. And if you have some slow service, the movies that are neat at first are not so neat on the 3rd or 10th loop through. Just my not so humble opinion.:rotfl:

Thanks for the advice everyone I will be cancelling WCC because it is a lunch and I heard they took away the Nachos and on the skillet give you u-peel shrimp, Yuk!

I am probably also going to cancel Sci Fi my kids are probably too young to get the theming and probably would rather play on the hood of the car!:rotfl:

where did you hear about the shrimp? It doesn't fit with the rest of the menu and according to allearsnet.com as of 5/07 nachos were still on the menu http://allearsnet.com/menu/menu_wcl.htm

We did lunch in March and will be doing it again in December. If they offer the shrimp though I'll have to order something else.
Thanks,.
