Which should be OOP and which should be DDP?

I finally got Ohana!!! However this brings me to a new dilemma. Our family trip is for 5 nights so I have 5 TS meals. However, I am booked at Ohana, Sanaa, Boma, Jiko, and The Wave. Since Jiko is a 2 TS meal, I am short one TS credit for our trip. So I have two questions for the group:

If you had to pay for one meal OOP, of the five I have which would you choose? Keep in mind that the meal is for 2 adults and 2 children under 10 and that all except Ohana are dinner ressies.

If you decided that you could not afford to do OOP and chose instead to drop a ressie, which would you choose and why?

I think that your answer largely depends on what you will order off of each menu, but overall, I would guess that Sanaa would be the cheapest if you went for a moderately/lower price option.
As far as what to cancel...I think I'd opt for Boma dinner, especially with two little ones. Actually, for me, it would be a tough call between Boma and Jiko, just because I'd be tempted to use the two TS credits for two meals...but I know that Jiko is a popular place.

You generally are served bread with dinner, which is so tasty. The entrees are HUGE. You may not have room for dessert. You could wait for your meal to settle and then eat dessert with a snack credit later. If you had room, you could split desserts. This would give you the least expensive total, and that is what you would want to pay OOP for.

Great advice, I agree 100%!! If I had to drop one, it would be Jiko. But after eating there next Sept., I may have a totally different opinion.

Sounds like an excellent suggestion! I know we all want to try the desserts at The Wave so I guess we would go OOP at Sanaa. I've read that their breads are to die for so that should help fill us up!

If their bread is anything like Jiko, it will be WONDERFUL. I don't recommend canceling Jiko. It was one of my favorites on our trip.

Do you plan on eating breakfast at Boma or the Wave? If so, I'd pay OOP for either of those. If not, I suggest that you check the menu prices online & seasonal pricing. No matter what, I would keep 'Ohana & Boma.

You got some great advice so far. I would pay OOP for one towards the end of your trip. It would suck to pay OOP on the first meal of the trip, then wind up cancelling a meal towards the end of your trip.
I would look at the menu (try disney's site since they now have the menus with the prices on it) and think about what you want to order. Maybe if there is one resturant that has great appitezers, you might want to do that. Since you would have to pay for them anyway.
