Which section of CSR do they place dance groups in?

Hello! I've tried to search this and only found one person who said they were placed in the Ranchos building when traveling with their daughter's dance team. Has anyone had any experience with staying at CSR with a dance/cheer/sports group? I'm used to being in charge of my own Disney vacation and I'm out of the loop here. TIA!

Typically all groups are place in the casitas (the largest section) but that depends on occupancy. They can end up being in all sections.

We stayed at ASSP once during dance week and can say that most of the day they are at the competition and we rarely saw them. We would see them early in the morning stretching etc. before getting on their buses. Our friends daughter was in dance at WDW and she said the kids hardly had any free time, they did use the pool at night but that was only for a little over an hour and that they only had 1 free day to do a park. Now Pop Warner was totally different and noisy, we found the adults to be the disruptive ones more than the kids:(

Thank you! I would love to be close to Three Bridges and I'm sure they wouldn't put us preferred so we would likely be in building 4 or 5 which are very close.

Yes we have been at ASSP with the cheerleaders once. We enjoyed watching them practice on the football field in the morning, but we were only there one night before transferring to BWV so there wasn't time to experience any disruption. We have traveled with the dance team to Disney twice. Once at Pop and once at POR. For the most part the kids are behaved, but large groups of teenage girls are definitely not quiet. I totally understand people wanting to avoid these groups. Some of us don't want to be in them either. LOL. We will have more park time than most groups I guess. There is only one day that's for workshop, performance, and pictures and families are there for 3 nights or more if they added on.

If you're the slightest bit concerned about noise/disruption, stay in a tower room, or avoid CSR/value resorts entirely.

I suggest a studio or one bedroom at Old Key West, depending on how much space you need.

When are they coming?

January 28-31 are required dates. A few families extended on either or both ends. Just FYI it’s not a competition, they are just performing so I don’t think it will be a bunch of teams. However, it is about 40 rooms so if you were in the middle of them that wouldn’t be ideal. I’m assuming they won’t put us preferred or in the tower. I think Coranado has upwards of 1700 rooms without the tower.
