Which section of Coronado Springs do all of you who have stayed there prefer? Why? Pros, cons, and comments are welcomed! Thank you~

I voted for the Cabana section. We requested and stayed there in August, Cabana 9B, great location! I like the beach feel and walking out of my room and seeing the palm trees and hammocks. Very relaxing!

We loved the location of Cabana 8b. We were steps from the Pool/Dig Site and the walking bridge to the Pepper Market. Bus stop #4 is right behind the building. We were able to see fireworks at nite from our window as well as the lake beach and swaying palm trees. Great Location.

It all depends what you are looking for. Each section has it own beauty and charm.

If you love fountains and courtyards, the casitas are for you. Palm trees, beach theme, the cabanas are for you and if you want a desert theme, then the ranchos will be for you.

I've stayed in them all and as long as I'm there, I'm happy.

The Casitas section has GORGEOUS landscaping and fountains galore. It is so beautiful and relaxing to stroll between the buildings. The flowers and plants are so pretty. There are many fountains and they are so beautifully lit up at night. There are places to sit and take in the view everywhere. It also overlooks the lake.

I'm hoping to get a room in the Casitas for our trip in November. Haven't stayed at CSR before, just visted and dined there. I think the entire resort is really beautiful. Would like the Casitas because of the nearness of a quiet pool and the spa. I'm working up the nerve to try a spa treatment. If I'm looking at the map correctly, I can take the back way into the Dig Site. I've read that the front entrance, over the bridge, can be a bit of a challenge for an electric wheelchair. :scratchin
I think I'll be delighted anywhere but I do hope they can put me on the first floor. POFQ put us on the second floor and couldn't honor the request for 1st floor. Their elevator arguement was correct, the wheelchair went on the elevator just fine. My problem was being afraid of the stairwells. Pretty silly, huh? The stairs were near the elevators and I was afraid that a euphoric child was going to bound off the elevator as I was approaching. I really don't want to hit anybody with my chair and I didn't want to panic and swerve into the stairwell. :blush:
But hey, if all the have are upper level rooms, so be it. I'll go really, really slow! As for the invitation to check out Buzz's CSR site. By all means go but be prepared for the consequences. You enter a time warp and the next thing you know the family wants to know why dinner isn't ready.
:wave: ::yes:: :wave:
