Sorry about the icky topic, but I want to get a sense of the possible nausea factor on a couple of rides so I don't screw up my trip. In particular, how would you rate Indiana Jones or Space Mountain, or any other ride at DLP? Here's my experience at WDW - Mission Space - turned green, felt horrible all day. Space Mountain, Star Tours & Expedition Everest: headache - need to sit down for a minute. Splash Mountain/Big Thunder Mountain: just fine.

Thanks - I like to be adventurous, but I can't afford to be too stupid on this trip.

DLP Space Mountain is more like Rock n Roller Coaster so you go upside down and some find it quite hard going - my head always seems to take a battering:headache:

Big Thunder Mountain is a bit faster but still :thumbsup2

I dont mind any rollercoasters but not keen on Indiana Jones - bit jerky

Everything else is ok though :)

lol, crush's coaster (rear facing) can be a little stomach churning, and the tower of terror, until you've ridden it a few times and are used to the sensation!

def crush is the one that finishes me off - but then cars made me feel a bit peeky when my son made us spin really fast - oh.. and teacups if he gets hold of that too!!!that just about shows how rubbish i am at spinning rides:lmao:

I have to say, Star Tours makes me feel really ill.... I honestly wasn't expecting it to, but I felt awful afterwards....

Bob xoxoxox

crush i was fine on same as BTM, i always feel fine after them, ive never tried TOT i hate lifts as it is, so there is a big no no that i will ever experience that ride:lmao:

I did space mountain once, and i did not like that, well the first bit anyway.....when i got going i was ok but the first drop scared me, thats all i can remember on that ride:)

Im going to try be a bit braver and try the R'n'R!

Its the drops i dont like.......would you say there are bigger drops in space mountain than the R'n'R anyone??:lmao:

What does everyone think of the rock and roll rollercoaster with the Aerosmith music?

I love Aerosmith, it's the only reason I go on the ride really.

I love the bit in the studio with Steve Tyler better than the ride.

The only ride which makes me feel ill at Disney is Space Mountain. It's just that it knocks your head so much that I have a real bad headache when I get off. In October this year I hadn't even bothered going on it but my son said it wasn't as bad as it had been in the past and I foolishly went on. Wish I hadn't as I find it quite worrying when I get off a ride and have a pain in the head.

All other rides including Crush and Tower of Terror and Aerosmith are brilliant.

Indiana Jones is great as well but there isn't much leg room on that one and I can't bend my knee very well and wish I hadn't gone on that one this time, only because of the space, the ride is great.

For me most rides make me feel sick, excluding Peter Pan, Snow White, Pinocchio and Snow White.

I suffer from very bad motion sickness so i have to remember to take anti sickness tablets otherwise im gagging all over the place LOL

I have only been on Space Mountain once and had to take copious amounts of paracetamol after had a very bad :headache: and felt  ! I would compare it to a human food blender. I found R n R Coaster and Crush ok. Indiana Jones I found quite tame but a bit rattly (looked old and a bit rickety but maybe this was the theme:confused3 anyway made me nervous) TOT was the most awful thing I have ever ever experienced.

To give you a baseline I get very sick on the VEA shuttle from CDG:lmao:

The only thing in DLP that makes me feel sick is the reliance on Disney characters all the time these days.

I only every feel sick after the Teacups which is why I avoid them

Tea Cups - hate this sort of ride. Space Mountain - this just causes head pain:rotfl: and Star Tours - I can't suspend my disbelief and just feel like I'm being thrown around whilst watching a film. ;)

I find that you never really have anything postive to say about DLP, makes me wonder why you go back.

There are loads of things I love about DLP and Disney. But they have totally lost their way, and I spend less time there than I used to. But the Disney I fell in love with used the characters sparingly. Not anymore.

DW felt a bit ill after riding Crush's Coaster (rear facing) last year and Space Mountain II in 2004 just after the re-vamp. But SP II feels alot smoother now.

Made a mental note to make sure me and Liam are facing forwards on Crush, still have nightmares about riding Indiana Jones backwards :(

I don't see why you have such a problem with characters, you dont have to have a photo etc with them, i dont get how they can ruin someone's holiday. :confused3

I was looking at cars race rally online, is it a bit like the tea cups? :confused3

First timer here! Actually looked like waltzers!! :rotfl2:

I love tea cups but hate the waltzers! Bit nervous about cars now!! Ive no doubt my 5 yr old will insist tho!!
