I couldn't vote, you didn't list the most cookie-tossing inducing ride: IASW! :crazy2:
Yikes! it really makes me queasy! :scared:

Jean

I wanted to put Journey into Imagination in there, but I ran out of room. Figment makes me gag. I haven't been on that ride in 10 years, and I can still hear that funny-looking pseudo-Barney singing in my head: "Imaaaaaaaaaaginaaaaation..."

None of the above, but I am a self admitted adreline junkie, with roller coasters being my vice of choice :scared1: I have to be riding that stuff all day straight before I start to feel anything. At which point I get something to eat, rehydrate, and then ride some more :goofy: But of course that's me.

If I were geuss what would make some of the more motion sickness prone DISers quisy, Tea Cups, Star Tours/Body Wars (you don't really move, yet it looks like you do, throws off equillibrium). I would also geuss that Primeval Whirl and Soarin would also make some people sick, but I havn't been on those so I honestly don't know. (Primeval Whirl is of similar principal to the tea cups, and as I understand Soarin is similar to motion simulators in that the scenery moves, but you really don't) Everything I've heard about Mission:Space is not good for someone who has a weak stomach. I am REALLY looking forward to experiencing it, but please see my first paragraph  Good luck with your riding experiences. Best advice is to know your limits and not overdo things. If you get to feeling sick, sit down and rest. Shade and H2O are your friends. Believe it or, but I find that food helps to settle me down too, particularly things like pretzels, french fries, or ice cream (no, not all at one sitting)

Mission space REALLY made me sick. But what I don't understand is why does the traffic scene in Soarin make me sick also? I've been on that about 5 times, and each time I have to brace myself for that scene. Does anyone else have that problem?

For years, I was embarrassed to admit that I once got sick on the teacups. My DH and I were the only ones on it and we were hunched over the middle, grabbing the wheel, and spinning like crazy. Right before the end of the ride I made the stupid mistake of leaning back on the bench. I INSTANTLY felt sick. DH said he saw me turn green! I was out of commission for two hours.

This post makes me realize that I'm not alone. . . I'm just a member of the Disney family who happens to have a weak stomach! :grouphug:

Mission Space does me in but areally anything that spins does me in so I expected it. I usually ride it once with the family and then lay off it the rest of the vacation. Tea Cups are a no no for me as well. I can do Star Tours and used to be able to do Body Wars once, but I cannot immediately reride or it will do me in (my kids can ride and reride Star Tours).

You forgot Body Wars. I wish I could. :crazy2:

Bleah....I'm not prone to motion sickness at all, but that one turned me green.

Me too :crazy2:

Soarin' left my teenage son a little sick. But the ride which made our whole family sick for the rest of the day is not even listed ... BODY WARS! Star Tours didn't bother us at all.

My Dbf and I rode ToT about 8 times in a row last year, trying to get the perfect picture. I was a little green by number 8! We never did get that picture, either :rotfl:

i'm very prone to motion sickness and body wars, TOT, teacups, star tours, and rockin roller coaster have made me queesy. I also can't stand those circle vision films they have in China and Canada, and I had to actually close my eyes because I was getting dizzy. Surprisingly mission space didn't make me queezy but I bumped into a few walls after riding it

Note I Never Threw up in WDW but i do get Nassuated (sp)on its rides

hmmm....Misson Space Gets me sick all the times

tea cups Are Very like many other rides i've rode so it would make me sick

PW got me sick only once. I Happen to be the only one in my family who enjoys the tourist trap of an attraction :p

TOT would not be on my list. it can get you sick but not as much as the other ones

Mission Space - whacked me for about 1 hour recovery time - DW - no problems at all

Primeval Whirl would get me for sure on a full stomach - I always do that one far from eating time :crazy2:

The others on the list have been ok for us

cheers

Everything makes me sick without my Dramamine. Once I forgot to take it and even IASW made me queasy! During our last trip, the kids wanted me to go on Astro Orbiter with them, and since I had taken Dramamine that morning, I thought it would be okay. Astro Orbiter made me feel a little queasy and dizzy, but not really sick. Then we went on Big Thunder Mountain and if it had lasted another minute longer, I would have thrown up on the people in front of us. I will never even attempt the Tea Cups or Mission Space, even with my Dramamine.

Let us not forget the movies in Epcot. Standing up in China and Canada as the movie flies us down through the beautiful scenery just makes me completely lose all sense of balance. Having positional vertigo dampens my enjoyment of those movies.

I was searching thru the posts to see if anyone else said this. I cannot do ANY of the Imax or 360 degree movies. They tell you not to sit down, but I had to sit on the floor with my head in my lap. No thanks! I'm a little worried about Soarin for this reason.

Does the 'create a roller coaster' at DQ count? That thing made me feel car stick after the 2nd round. Ugh. Nothing else bothers me (MS, big coasters like Hulk, etc).

The ONLY ride I can't take are those darn Tea Cups!!! :rotfl:
I love the coasters and do them all over and over....but those Tea Cups do me in........ :confused3

Disney Quest has a fun game in which you can design a roller coaster then ride it in a simulator. My coaster had all sorts of horrible loops and turns. I was sick for hours afterwards. And the teacups ... never been on 'em ... 'can't even look at them when their spinning or I feel sick.

MS made me feel sick cause i looked around ( i know they said not to, but it was really cool feeling), and there is one ride that you forgot from your poll, Stitch made me sick, i hated when he burped on me :crazy2:

Yeah, but the "create your own coaster" has an emergency "stop" button, doesn't it? If only all the rides had that!
