We can make our FP+ reservations in a little over a week. We are two adults traveling in August. We are having a hard time deciding on our MK advance FP+.

We plan to get to the park for RD and hit SDMT first. We plan to also get a FP for SDMT to ride it again. For the other two FP+, I think we should use them for ETWB and Peter Pan. Neither of us have ever done ETWB and I was told it was something we should try at least once. Is this a good option for a FP?

I know the lines at Peter Pan get long quickly, so that's why I think it should be our third FP. My sister prefers the three mountains, and would rather have a FP for one of those. I told her that it is much more likely that we can get a 4th (or 5th or 6th FP) for a mountain the day of.

Is my thinking correct? Or should we go with a mountain for an advance FP+?

Edited to add: I definitely want to ride Peter Pan once. I've ridden it before, and I like it. My sister could care less and would skip it. But she agreed to ride it with me if I want.

We will also be in the park until close. I plan to do the first FP at 9am (to ride after our first SDMT), 2nd at 10am and third at 11am.

Personally as an adult, I'd skip Peter Pan and do a mountain. But, I have heard that the later fps are ok for those.

If you're doing all 3 FP's for early in the day, you can possibly snag a FP for one of the mountain rides. Just depends on how busy the park is. About two weeks ago when I was there by around 2/3pm either all FP's for mountains were gone or the return time was near park close.

I would get a FP for one of the mountains instead of ETWB. Then do standby for that, and use any extra FP's for any other mountains if still available.

Here is a helpful post about FPs

If you are ok with riding 7DMT once...get there at rope drop, ride Peter pan. Use early fast pass for 7DMT, head over to big Thunder Mt. Use fast pass for either SPLASH OR BTM, depending on time of year. Ride other rise stand by. Ride other rides without fast pass like HM, Pirates...making your way to Space Mt where you will use your third fast pass. Use 4th fast pass for whatever you missed, including ETWB. I brought my DH and 3 kids to ETWB, and would not waste a fp on it or wait in a long line. We went on it late, just after fireworks, and no line. But fp- was in place then.
