my nephew is afraid of his shadow. he will once in awhile watch a horror movie if the bad guy is only wearing a mask and there is no blood but that is it. we took the poor little guy on the dinasour ride at animal kingdom and his parents had to buy him half of the store at the exit just to calm him down. i definitely do not want a repeat of that since i will be taking him alone.

what rides do you think may be too much for him? he wants to do jurassic park river adventure but only if we go in the day time. what about rides like jaws, the terminator, the horror makeup show, etc.

thanks!

Jaws can be scary at parts esp in boat house,Jurasic park enters a very dark area where u are set upon with dinos before the drop, terminator has lound gunshots & the horror make up show is funny but plenty of blood:jester:

agree with Highlander......... Jaws, JP, Twister, Earthquake, my little one kinda didn't like spidey......... but he really liked the horror makeup show!!! go figure!

HMS might not be too bad as the actors to their best to present everything in a funny way. They basically prove that horror movies can be silliness in disguise.

Jaws might scare him (a hungry shark is after you).

ROTM might scare him (an ancient mummy wants your souls, fierce mummy warriors that pop up near you, fire from all sides, flesh eating bugs appear all around you, rollercoaster in darkness with ghosts that appear above you, etc).

i agree with the mummy. i wasn't even considering that one with him. i asked him about jaws but until he sees it, i don't know for sure. he may back out on me. i've never been on men in black or posiedein (sp?) . how are those rides for little ones?

Men in Black is like a glorified Buz Lightyear, but a lot better. I can't imagine that it would be too scary.

My 4yo has always liked Jaws, even when he was 3yo and scared of Spiderman, Jimmy Neutron, etc. Shrek scared him the first time, but he was fine this last visit.

Your nephew might be better now than he was at Dinosaur. Just play it by ear and start with rides that are tame and work up from there.
