We will only be at Disney World for 5 dinners and we will
have 3 small girls with us. We are trying to plan the dinner
restaurants and our TA is going to make the reservations. I have
only been to Disney World once and it was a long time ago. So
far, we have chosen Cinderella's Round table, Rain Forest Cafe and are considering the Mexican Restaurant and Prime Time
Cafe in Mgm Studios. We want to get good food but the atmosphere for the little ones is also very important. I need to decide on my restaurants shortly and would appreciate any suggestions. A lot of people are talking about Le Cellier. What is that and where is that. Any other suggestions? I definitely need
help.
Thanks
Jan

I can answer about San Angelo (Epcot-Mexico) - my husband and I went 2 years ago and really enjoyed it. If you can get seated near the river you can watch the boats go by for the ride inside the pavillion (can't remember the name right now).

We also went to the 50's Prime Time Cafe. We had a great time. The CMs really 'ham it up' and I'm sure your kids will have fun.

Hope this helps.

We have eaten at the Sci Fi Dine In Theatre. It was really neat. You get to sit in cars and have your meal while watching Sci Fi cartoons. I think your children would love this as long as they will eat while watching tv. haha!! We will be going back there on our next trip. Also The Whispering Canyon Cafe is a very interactive restaurant that your kids will enjoy. Hope that helps and enjoy!!:)

Ditto on Sci-Fi Dine In Theater! Definetly my favorite place to eat at Disney. :p Good kids (and adults) atmosphere!

Almost all Disney restaurants cater to small children so you won't really need to worry about that. Cinderella's Royal Table and 50' Prime Time Cafe are excellent choices. The children will have a ball at both places. San Angel Inn in Mexico does have a bit of a party atmosphere in a way since sometimes there are Mexican Musicians playing in the shopping area. The scenery alone will keep the girls amused. Le Cellier is a restaurant in EPCOT in Canada. They specialize in steak and I can back that up 100%. We ate there a few weeks ago and the filet mignon was superb. There were many children dining at the same time we were. This would be a good choice if you are in the mood for a good steak.

RFCis a great spot for kids because of all of animtronic animals. The Downtown Disney RFC is very busy and table wait could be long for dinner. We usually go to the one at the Animal Kingdom and had no problems getting a table.

If going to CRT, make your reservations early. This is the hardest place to get a PS.

Whispering Canyon is very kid oreinted, your girls will love it. Same goes for Prime Time.

Also consider a character dinner one night as an option.

Sounds like good choices to me!!!!

If you are going to have little ones with you, you may want to Consider Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary. My daughter, who was 22 months old at the time we went there, loved it here. They have Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale.

You did not mention the ages of your little ones but my son has always loved Sci Fi, Rainforest Cafe(at AK)[sit at the bar for faster service and better view], Coral Reef, San Angel Inn and, of course, Chef Mickey's. Now that he is older he loves Bistro de Paris and the Italian restaurant. Even at age 5 we all enjoyed the California Grill - its just often a long wait there even with a PS and 3 wee ones might get a little ansy. Wherever you go I am sure you will meet warm Disney servers accustomed to serving all ages and all appetites. I can truly say over the past 8 years of dining throughout Disney we have never had a server not be kind or attentive to our child.

Have fun!!!!

For a breakfast character meal, I would definitely go with 1900 Park Faire...the kids love the characters, and having their own special buffet table, at a height where they can help themselves. The grownups love the made to order omelets, the great selection of food on the adult buffet, the great service, and the fact that the characters really cater to the kids.

For a lunch character meal, I highly suggest Hollywood and Vine. The characters are fantastic, the buffet has a great selection and the service is really good.

For a fun full service meal, with great food, and good service, try 50's Prime Time Cafe. The kids will love watching mom and dad being told to get their elbows off of the table, and to eat all of their vegetables.

For a more upscale meal, go to Le Cellier. They even have kid sized steaks, and provide coloring activities for the kids. The game on the beeper they give you while you wait is great for the kids, too!

For a cool atmosphere, how about San Angel Inn? My DD loves the fact that it feels like you are eating outside at night, even in the middle of a hot day. They can also watch the boats from El Rio Del Tiempo go by. The cheese quesidillas are a big hit with DD... she used to say they were Mexican Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.

Another of DD's favorites is the Clam Bake at Cape May Cafe. She loves the great variety of food, the fantastic choice of desserts, and the sandcastles displayed right in the middle of the restaurant. We always have good service here, too!

Have a great trip!

I loved Sci Fi and Prime Time as a child. I havent been back to Sci Fi as an adult, but I have been back to Prime Time. Its a lot of fun!!

Ohanas is suppose to have lots of fun things for kids --- I will know first hand on after our next trip.
