Which restaurants sell sandwiches?

Hi

I have been looking through the menus for all the restaurants and fast food options but am struggling to find anywhere that sells sandwiches, apart from New York sandwiches and EoS. Even in those places I can't find anything for my picky children.

Can anyone think of any places that sell basic sandwiches ie cheese for kids? Can't face feeding them chip based foods twice a day! By the time I go home I'm usually craving healthy foods

i'm fairly sure one of the kids meal deals at both Toad Hall in the main park, and Blockbuster Cafe in the Studios, involves a sandwich (it might be cheese and ham as opposed to just cheese).

My DD is also a fussy eater, and she doesn't eat pork products, so at DLP it can be a bit of mare. She loves pasta and mexican food though, so we do have lots of choice that doesn't involve chips (Colonel Hathis, Bella Notte, Fuente del Oro, Blockbuster Cafe etc).

Thanks, I'll have a look at those places. I have 4 children and only one likes meat so it can be a bit of a struggle to find somewhere that caters for all of them, apart from chips!

You can get sandwiches at some of the places on mainstreet - Market house deli, Victorias and Cable car as well I think.
Also the Blockbuster cafe in the studios used to sell them

You can also buy them from the shop in the railway station

As already stated there are a few places in each park that sells them.

The train station suggestion was the best idea though, they're a lot cheaper there!!!

EoS due a basic cheese sandwich, it's got 2 types of cheese in it, for children.

They will also alter sandwiches by taking out an ingredient or a sauce no bother

my dd loves sandwiches at home but wouldn't eat any of the ones on offer at dlp.

we tried the cheese sandwich in eos and she didnt like the bread, it was more like a bun

we tried the kids sandwiches in the fast food places and again with the bread she wouldn't eat it. they were kept in a fridge and quite hard.

at home she normally eats any kind of sliced bread and different types of bread rolls but at dlp i have yet to find one she will eat.

she does love the rolls at the table in the table service meals, im starting to think she is a bit of a snob and just wants me to shell out for expensive meals each day

Ah yes, mine are also picky about anything that's not the same as home or school meals!

Good to know EoS will alter sandwiches, will probably have to give that a try, thanks

At EoS you can have them made for you and pick for yourself what you want on them, as long as you don't ask for ingredients that aren't on the menu. But basically anything that's in their premade sandwiches you can mix and match as much as you want. So it should be possible to find something for each of your children there this way.

Other option is Cable Car Bake Shop or Market House deli. They have french bread (the rolls you gets in the table service restaurants) with light butter, cheese and ham. There are gerkins in it but you can fish them out and I bet if you ask nicely they won't mind making a fresh one with only cheese on it or without gerkins/butter for example. You could also look at the tea time options. A Mickey brioche isn't that unhealthy (it's just sandwich dough and nutella, probably what most kids grab for breakfast anyway) and fills you up nicely too. I imagine that most children will be full with one or max. 2 of those.

And then there is always the shop in the train station. They have different kinds of sandwiches with normal bread and french bread and all sorts of different options.

Or grab a croissant/pain au chocolat from breakfast a long. As long as you don't put your backpack full at breakfast, they won't mind if you make one or two bread rolls for the kids to eat in the park. IF they do say something you can always say they don't have an appetite yet but they will once they're in the park for half an hour.

That's really good to know, thanks. I'll have a look in the Market deli first and see what they have. We're staying in the Marriott so we do have the option of taking lunch with us but 6 people's lunches is quite a lot of food to take in with us.
Hoping the weather will be nice enough to sit outside
