Which restaurant?

Which restaurant would you all recommend? 50's Prime TIme or Mama Melrose's? It will be me, DH, DD 7 and DS 3? Thanks for any help you can give!

We have done both a few times and prefer 50's, MM was just ok but 50's food is awesome, great fun, really kitchy atmosphere and killer cocktails.

We ate at both on our trip ... I thought both had good food. Totally different though ... 50s is really up-beat atmosphere, home-style food (chicken, meatloaf, pot roast, etc) -- and great desserts. MM took a LONG time for us to get our food, but was equally good. If you're going to 50s, be prepared for the joking around ... and any punishment you may receive (one man had to stand up and sing "I'm a little teapot" to the entire place).

Good choice...We have been to both twice...Did not like MM either time...We really enjoyed the traditional foods and fun service at 50s!

We prefer 50's PT over MM as well. The atmosphere at 50's PT is more fun, and the food at MM is just ok. Also, I LOVE the PB&J milkshake at 50's PT.

I would chhose MM's over 50's any day. Did not have a good experience at 50's...could be isolated, but I'm never going back there again. Bad food and bad service.
