Which Restaurant to drop?

We will at at Disney December 3 - 10 (eeeek! Pop Warner week!!!) with free dining. We made our ADR's way back in June and recently rearranged some of them and right now we have one too many. We really want to avoid paying out of pocket for one of them. Here's what we have so far.

Sat: Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner)
Sun: Coral Reef (dinner)
Mon: Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater (dinner)
Tues: Crystal Palace (dinner)
Wed: Whispering Canyon Cafe (lunch) and Planet Hollywood (dinner)
Thurs: Boma (dinner)... we really want Tusker House for lunch this day but so far no luck.
Fri: 50's Prime Time Cafe (dinner)

Right now I really want to cancel Planet Hollywood and do Wolfgang Puck Express for dinner that evening instead. We are doing La Nouba that night and want to eat after the show. Right thing to do? Does anyone have any experience at Planet Hollywood?

I'd cancel Planet Hollywood and for WPE as you mentioned. Food is much better at WPE, and it's probably cheaper since it's CS.

I'd drop PH but what time is the La Nouba performance? If your going to the late show you might want to eat first or you might get stuck with Planet Hollywood. I remember a lot of places being closed when we got out of the late show.

You have some nice choices!!! I would cancel Boma...we hated it. Everything was to sweet for us. Not our taste. Of course if you like sweet meats and veggies it is ok, it is good for some, just not us. So that is the one I would cancel.

I would also cancel PH and eat at WPE instead. My second choice would be to cancel Boma.

I would cancel PH or Coral Reef. Coral Reef because the menu is on the "different" side and it's not cool to me unless I'm right up against the glass of the aquarium, which can be hard seats to get. PH because it's a chain you can go to in almost any major city, so it's not Disney-special to me.

I would def cancel PH. WPE is much better than PH and only a CS credit.

I would agree with others drop PH -too loud and go with WPE which is quietier and relaxing and good food.

I'd drop PH - we went a couple of years ago and didn't like it and I've never heard any good reviews about it from anyone else either.

I haven't been to the PH in Disney but have a good experience at other we have eaten at. We didn't care for 50's prime time cafe. The food was gross.

I'm with these nominations. The food at LTT just isn't for me, unless its Thanksgiving and PH is more a gimmick of Hollywood than anything else, no Disney magic!

For those who have voted for cancelling the PH ressie, I have a question. On the DDP you are given a $15 gc for food and a voucher for a PH "keepsake". Do you use the $15 gc? Can it be used just to grab dessert r a cold drink and appetizer? What is the "keepsake"?

Have never used the gc- really dislike eating at this place. Last time we went the 'keepsake' was a key ring.

Agreed about PH! Nothing special there.

And please do not even consider canceling Boma. The best buffet in WDW, IMHO. We are going out of our way to eat there again on our next trip.

I would drop PH. We usually go there for appetizers or desserts using our $14 GC, but we don't eat meals there. It's not worth using a TS for, IMO.
