I am contemplating between Narcoossee and Flying Fish for our anniversary dinner. Anyone tried both and have opinions?

Tried both. Liked both. I think I even had the scallops at both. Both allow for after dinner strolls around bodies of water.

I have been to both and enjoyed both experiences. If I HAD to choose, I would go with Flying Fish. Best meal I've ever had on property. Great service, great food, beautiful atmosphere and the Boardwalk afterward, which was fun. JMHO

Leaning towards Flying Fish right now. Epcot has EMH till 11 that night so thinking we could hang out at the boardwalk for a bit and end the night in Epcot. If Norcoossee’s food was much better that would sway us the other way. Just looking for a nice meal, and something that’s new for us.

We have eaten at both and had good meals at both.
I would do Flying Fish as you can then enjoy the Boardwalk area after dinner. Love the performers around the Boardwalk at night.
Have a drink at Abracadabar or stop in at JellyRolls after dinner.

Between the 2 I would have to agree with Flying Fish. Narcoossee's is fine and the view of HEA is fine, but the food is better at FF and the Boardwalk is really nice at night.

If you aren't tied to dining plan credits, maybe look into bluezoo or Shula's at the Dolphin. Both have superior food and quieter atmospheres to FF and Narcoossee's and both are a short walk from the Boardwalk.

I had my last Anniversary dinner at the Bull & Bear in the Waldorf Astoria at Bonnet Creek area. It was excellent. Classy and comfortable, wonderful service, and the steaks were worth the price. Nice drink and wine selection too.

I had a bad experience at Narcoossee's 10 years ago and have never been back, but I still wouldn't recommend it.

I'd choose Narcoossee's. I've had at least 10 great meals there. It's a much more "romantic" restaurant than Flying Fish.

The two times I ate at Flying Fish, I felt that the room was pretty loud, and was disappointed with my meal (4 scallops on a plate does not equal an "entree" for me, and the steak was forgettable).

For an anniversary dinner, I would go with Narcoossee's although I agree with others that the food is better at Flying Fish. But Flying Fish is on the boardwalk which tends to be busier, noisier, more kids around etc. Narcoossee's is more romantic and you can go out on the dock and watch the fireworks. GF is beautiful and you can take a nice quiet stroll before or after your meal, take the boat ride to and from. Makes for a special evening. Enjoy!

With EP EMH and the Boardwalk right there, I would choose FF. I think the atmosphere is nicer at Narcoosee's, however, the menu is very limited, IMHO, and FF's food is much better.

Hoop De Doo.

It’s laid back, and you’ll have a good time. My significant other loves Mac and Cheese.

The problem with high end meals is that you raise your expectations, and if they fail to deliver, you have a bad experience.
