which restaurant before MVMCP?

We're going for the first time for the MVMCP and am not sure where to eat before the party starts. We're already have a PS for Crystal Palace the morning of the party for breakfast. Any ideas? LTT or CRT? I'd love to go to Whispering Canyon but have a feeling even if we eat at 5 we may not get there until the party starts at 7. Is it a big deal to be in the park before 7? Or doesn't it really matter?

We're eating at LTT at 4:30 on 12/14. That way, we'll be well fed, already in the park and ready to go! My girls are 6 & 8 so being there early will work better for us because I know the girls won't last much past 9:30.

We're having dinner at Crystal Palace before the party! Can't wait!!!

We did Liberty Tree Tavern before MNSSHP last year - it was a lot of fun and the food was good.

We've also eaten at Grand Floridian Cafe before the party one year, and another year, when we got back to our room, we had pizza delivered!

I'd recommend either the Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern or Cindy's. This way you are already in the park and are several steps ahead of those outside the gates.

We're having dinner at Crystal Palace before MVMCP. Since you're having breakfast there, if you don't want to have dinner there maybe you can try for a PS at LTT or Cindy's (although I think LTT is pretty well booked; it was for our date).

This will be our first MVMCP so I'm not sure how important it is to be there at 7, but based on other WDW experiences I think it will be good to have dinner in the park so that we're right there when the party starts. Time flies at WDW as it is; I don't want to waste any more than I have to!

Have you thought about switching your breakfast to somewhere else and doing CP before MVMCP? Maybe you could do Chef Mickey's or 1900 park fare? Just an idea. I like the thought of being in the park before the party. I also have two young kids who won't make it the whole time, so I want to be there early.

We're eating at the LTT before our MVMCP.. I chose this place for two reasons... first, it's in the MK, secondly, it's a character meal.

we are planning on Chef Mickey's at 5:30, I thought this way it's a character meal and then we can experience Main Street at the beginning of the party without having to come to the front of the park to see it. For us it isn't important to be there right at 7....we'll probably show up at 7:30 and hope the majority of the crowds at the front gates have gone.

We wanted LTT but it was sold out for the 17th. We settled for Chef M's which will be fun and we can walk over to the park rather than waiting for transportation. I really can't wait!!

Crystal Palace is a great place to kick off the festivities for MVMCP! Either change your location for breakfast that morning or do CP for breakfast on another day.

Last year we had a 5:30 PS at CP. We finished up right as the party officially began. This year I actually booked for 4:30 so that we will finish early and perhaps get our picture done. Maybe just plan out our night. Being right at the end of Main Street was awesome, though!
